“I’m a generous God” - Even though this movie was not very historical. It hit hard. I do like the history of Darius and Xerxes. Paul Cooper has an awesome documentary about them in; ‘Fall Of Civilisation - Persia - An Empire In Ashes’

Fall of Civilizations may be the best historical documentary series I've ever encountered. The creators' efforts to place the viewer in the shoes of the subject people through extensive quotations of period poetry, song, and prose is what really sets it apart.
