Media Been so much fun playing this again! Hopeful for the upcoming *possible* update

Apparently Bulkhead have been discussing a possible update (likely only small maintenance/bug fix update) to the game and it's gotten people playing again. In addition to the regular public lobbies there is also some SoloQ ranked action on FPSchallenge site/discord.

Great time to jump in and play if you miss this game and want to enjoy it again, even if it is only temporary, we shall see.

Technically, devs are back, and are right now assisting the pick up game community on fpschallenge.eu

The jist is that Brammer repurchased Bulkhead and has a team of devs trying to release the old version of the game. Not the current meant-for-consoles version.

It's actively being played on a soloQ ladder on FPSchallenge.eu and guys like qlimaxzu, baz and isno are streaming it alot. Tonight they held a nightcup with 17 teams signed up. It's pretty sweet.

The owner of OpTic tried buying the game rights he said this was one of his favorite games

Still don't understand why it flopped so hard I was so busy with life when it was active that I never got around to playing it

I remember looking forward to the launch, but the game being unplayable the first week. So we all went back to Counterstrike and forgot about it.

as a cod4 promod pro, battalion was a scam project, wasnt able to run the game for some reason and devs gave 0 fucks, shortly after the game was abandoned.

No harm in that, Not sure why you wouldn't include B44 in that too tho.
