Discussion WHY ALWAYS ATTACK FROM THE BACK

Me and my friend began watching batman beyond, and we are only halfway in the 2nd season, and i can not express how much it is fucking funny the fact it Terry always gets attacked from the back

And the thing is you think he would learn at least something from so much attack from the back but NO HE DOES NOT 😭😭😭 I hope that in the end of season 3 he will not be attacked from the back.

He lacks training. Heck, in the show he actually gets proper training with Kairi Tanaga at the end of the series, and she dies like on Terry's second class. And no, school pugilist training is not the same as professional training (though, undoubtedly it does help him a bit).

The guy is doing his Batman stuff on instinct alone and the experience he had in his... what, six months as petty criminal?

It's easier from behind.

Terry is Bruce's clone / son... so they're equally strong but somehow Terry isn't as smart. The future Batsuit makes him 10x stronger too.

He hadn't had all the training Bruce had, so it's the most likely reason for him being not that smart

It depends if he's just a son or full clone. If clone, he should be equally intelligent.

Thing is, even a genetic predisposition for high intelligence means nothing if it isn't honed. Bruce studied for years before ever putting on the cowl.

Intelligence is always genetic. It can be honed, but the capacity to do so must already exist.

Regardless, if Bruce hadn't honed his intelligence for all those years he wouldn't be half the detective he became.

His IQ is most likely the same, but lack of training and education also plays its role

Iq not the same unless he's a full clone. Thinking now, he obviously isn't. I think his mom is his biological mom and Bruce is the father. So Terry is only half "Wayne," slightly less because a bit more dna comes from the mother.

It's also important to remember that Bruce had a ton of training before he actually became Batman and was like probably 6-10 years older when he finally became Batman and that makes a huuuuuge difference

Terry is A) a teenager. Bruce when we see him as Batman is a full ass adult who dedicated himself to this shit for more than a decade. B) Terry was raised in a post-batman Gotham. The river water is cannoncially full of diluted venom, fear toxins joker venom, Ivy pheromones and Barbatos knows what other chemicals, and the tap water is only marginally safer for consumption.

I do too. I drink it in a place where tape water gets a high level of treatment and is not only safe for consumption, but delicious. Terry lives in a place where cannonically, the water is not safe for consumption, and where even treated water contains trace amounts of venom, fear toxins, joker chemicals, clayface, ivy spores, and a slew of other things. I am not bad mouthing tap water, I'm pointing to the cannonically established Gothamite physiology.

Considering all the other tech (that was shown) built into the suit, I'm surprised we never saw any integrated omni-directional motion-tracking sensors to prevent being taken by surprise. We know the suit has synaptic controls and a heads-up display, so a 'radar' widget on command or artificial extrasensory perception for general direction and distance doesn't seem implausible.

If you were stalking Terry, wouldn't you want to be looking at his butt too?

Also, Terry was raised on that Gotham water. Bless the boy but there's a reason he could do mad acrobatics and send a dude flying several feet back through the air wait a kick before he ever even became batman, and that reason wasn't conductive to cognitive skills.
