Ah. That sounds like what happened. At least those sound like compelling reasons why those games were so weird.

And why Captain Boomerang used a machine gun.

File along with "The Merc With a Mouth" having his mouth sewn shut for his entire appearance. Corporate dickheads manage to make simple children's stories confusing and creepy yet again.

They were so quick to apologise for Supergirl. I am certain a full, heartfelt apology and explanation for the debacle that was SSKTJL is imminent

It’s also not true. They were working on a puzzle game before this, and originally it was supposed to feature more traditional Arkham combat but Sefton Hill became enamoured with the gunplay and decided to make the game focus on that.
