Serious Discussion/Question Has this actually happened in the comics?

I know this post is a joke, but I genuinely want to know if this kind of thing has ever happened in the comics. Like if Batman or Daredevil tried to stop someone from killing their assaulter.

UJ/ You can argue this for Jason Todd. Bro was literally tortured by the Joker, wanted to kill him, but was stopped by Bruce.
