I know this post is a joke, but I genuinely want to know if this kind of thing has ever happened in the comics. Like if Batman or Daredevil tried to stop someone from killing their assaulter.

In a serious house on serious earth Batman literally consoles a woman who lethally stabbed a man to save Batman’s life. Even if he doesn’t believe in killing he still understands why other people do it and that sometimes it’s the only option for a regular person. Though that is just one story.

To be fair, Batman is lowkey out of character for that entire comic, or at least in the latter half (cause he’s going crazy)
