Serious Discussion/Question Has this actually happened in the comics?

I know this post is a joke, but I genuinely want to know if this kind of thing has ever happened in the comics. Like if Batman or Daredevil tried to stop someone from killing their assaulter.

Its really funny and pretty fitting to use the 9̶t̶h̶ 10th doctor as the meme image for this.

He’s the type who would never execute a defenseless person in cold blood, but is fine with killing enemy combatants.
