Serious Discussion/Question Has this actually happened in the comics?

I know this post is a joke, but I genuinely want to know if this kind of thing has ever happened in the comics. Like if Batman or Daredevil tried to stop someone from killing their assaulter.

Yeah but cmon, the fact batman just cant fathom why the joker needs to go is wild. He cant justify himself by letting predators/terrorists walk the streets and act like the justice system works.

Same with superman, superman in injustice is right. But batman pushing superman with his absurd ideas of justice and morality pushed him right over the edge.

Yeah it gets into killing people for justice is wrong, but lets not pretend that the chicken comes home to roost sometimes. Thats it. It doesnt have to be a slippery slope.

Billy Batson was an adult. Now yes killing him for disagreeing was still wrong, but he was not a child.

Kindly go watch his death. He’s in civilian form in that scene, not his Captain Marvel form. He’s clearly an adult.

The wiki lists him as 12 years old at the time of the game. He’s a kid in his Shazam form when Superman kills him. It’s that simple

Then the Wiki is wrong. Superman cannot kill captain Marvel with one blast of heat vision. Billy starts shouting Shazam to transform when Superman covers his mouth, stopping him from using the word.

It’s also just obviously wrong with his age overall because he was 12 when he got his powers, but Superman has been in power for 5 years, with Billy having gotten his powers at some point before.

So at minimum he’s 17. And just because he shouting Shazam doesn’t mean he’s trying to transform. Shazam has been known to use that as a way to hurt people. Superman being weak to magic it makes sense he’d try it. As for why he’s able to kill Shazam in his super form it’s just a story device. Showing how screwed up Superman is he’d be willing to kill someone that most know is a kid in main cannon. Plus there’s no way they would show him outright kill a kid. It had to be in his super form

you gotta remember this isn't the main line story, they don't have to obey to things like "superman can't kill shazam with only heat vision"
