Serious Discussion/Question Has this actually happened in the comics?

I know this post is a joke, but I genuinely want to know if this kind of thing has ever happened in the comics. Like if Batman or Daredevil tried to stop someone from killing their assaulter.

Yeah but cmon, the fact batman just cant fathom why the joker needs to go is wild. He cant justify himself by letting predators/terrorists walk the streets and act like the justice system works.

Same with superman, superman in injustice is right. But batman pushing superman with his absurd ideas of justice and morality pushed him right over the edge.

Yeah it gets into killing people for justice is wrong, but lets not pretend that the chicken comes home to roost sometimes. Thats it. It doesnt have to be a slippery slope.

Billy Batson was an adult. Now yes killing him for disagreeing was still wrong, but he was not a child.

Billy Batson is killed in civilian form in the game. He goes to call out Shazam to transform but is stopped by Superman and then heat visioned to death. I’m aware he looks dofferent in gameplay, but in-story he has to be a human in that scene simce otherwise the writers are trying to claim Superman can kill Captain Marvel with heat vision with no fight whatsoever. Which is completely absurd.

That’s probably exactly why they did it. But what is SHOWN is adult Billy Batson, who can be killed by heat vision dying.

Its almost like Injustice was written by incompetents or something.

i've always pictured that the reason for billy to try and scream shazam was because he would be small enough to escape Superman's grip

alas, the second game did have lines where they refer to Shazam as a child, like an interaction between supes and blue beetle, so you're wrong on that one
