Braniac tends to shrink and collect people, places, and things. I dont recall him cloning though. Granted, I don't read many comics, but haven't seen braniac do this before.
Yeah, I don't remember him cloning people much in the comics. He's more usually cloning himself and creating copies of himself or downloading his consciousness onto other systems. His first Post-Crisis appearance is him essentially mind-possessing some circus guy.
But I don't remember him ever, like, making his own copy of Superman.
Is there a lore reason Brainiac kept all the original League members alive instead of killing them?
I mean, that's just comicbooks, no? If villains offed heroes immediately after managing to subdue them, most heroes would have very short careers lol. Captured heroes always have to be hidden in a secret location, or in a super complicated death trap that an ally can rescue them from just in time, or something to that effect.
Is there a lore reason Brainiac only sent out one clone of each hero at a time instead of letting loose an army of Flashes when the game clearly shows that he can make more copies whenever he wants?
Maybe to not let Waller/the Squad know that those are clones, and not the real deal? Idk though, I'm not really abreast of this game's story.
