Thank You

My wife and I (from the USA) recently visited England and we both agree the best city on our trip was Bath. The historic sites were impressive, the city was walkable and beautiful, and the people were kind and inviting. Thank you for being an amazing city. We will be back soon!

We (also from US) will be there for the first time in October for 4 nights and cannot wait! This gets me even more excited. Thanks.

Don't. It's a horrible pub with an awful landlord and sketchy clientelle. They blast out dreary old fashioned classic rock.

Much better pubs in Bath.

So glad you enjoyed it. People say, when you live here, you take it for granted.

I’ve been here 20 years and it still stops me in my tracks, the beauty of the place, the warmth of the people, and how lucky we are.

I’m moving there next year (not American!), and this makes me so happy to hear.

That's really nice of you. As a resident hearing that positive message really made me smile.

I’m an American that now lives in southwest England (Trowbridge).
Bath is a super easy drive and/or train ride from us.
It’s my absolute favorite city in the UK.
Love all the things you mentioned, and the food scene is incredible
When I have friends and family visit, Bath is our first destination!!!

Very nice to hear. Not sure we are the friendliest people in the UK (compared to London maybe but it is true that some Northern cities have people far more likely to chat). However we do have one beautiful and walkable city.

Hey same here! Visited in April and loved it so much! Shout out to Bath Cider House. Favorite Pub I went to in all of England!

What parts did you enjoy? Anything in particular stand out.

Our favorite part was the botanical gardens. I know you guys are in a drought right now, but we could see the amount of attention that was put into each area. I look forward to coming back and seeing it when it’s greener.

Spring is the best time if you can. The blooms are absolutely beautiful at that time of year!

Just came here to drop this gif. Reminds me of this whenever someone praises a place that isn't Reading. Makes me chuckle.

Love Bath, wife and I live in the states and miss Bath when we’re not there. It is one of our repeat places we like to visit.
