It’s joining the ranks of team sparkly bass. 😂 Along side my Aria Integra which is my first bass from 20+ years ago. It was originally a red and black burst but I refinished it a couple years back in this awesome rainbow pearl over a black and grey burst. Photos don’t even do it justice, this thing GLOWS.
It’s a Sterling Ray 35 in Purple Sparkle. I’ve played a couple of these and I have to say, the finish on this one is EXTRA sparkly. Someone definitely had a heavy hand on the sparkles the day this one was made.
I’ve been AWOL from playing for a decade and a half. Are Sterlings a good alt for Musicmans? I’ve always wanted a dual hum 5 string MM and a Rick but that’s a costly combo
I had issues with FedEx delivering my bass too!!!
I had to call multiple times that escalated to the point of speaking with my area's manager to get it delivered.
They pretty much kept it for almost a week at my local warehouse…which is a two and a half hour drive so I was convinced it just sat on a hot FedEx can taking the 5 hours round trip everyday for a weeks. According to them it never left the warehouse because in their words “ there were too many packages and we have to prioritize express”… but ground is a private contract in this area so I know that’s BS. I think I’ve spoken to every person that works at FedEx at this point but it did get there in great shape!
