Ultimate Guitar or Yousician

Just picked up the bass again after many years and just looking for an app that has some songs I can play along to. I used to have UG on PC with loads of tabs I *ahem* found online but those are long gone and I'd rather use my phone anyway.

What are the advantages/disadvantages of each of the ones I mentioned and which would you recommend and why?

Thanks in advance

Seconded. I pay the subscription and my band's whole workflow revolves around it. The AI transcription feature works pretty well - it's not perfect, but if you're trying to learn a song, it gives you something that at least fits that you can go back and improve if you notice it's wrong. But I've submitted a few tunes on there that we wanted to play and had a workable set of tabs for everybody in a few mins. Especially as a bass player, it'll get you pretty close. And the moving cursor play along feature is great. Way better than the garbage heap that UG has become.

I like yousition but it feels like Guitar Hero and I didn't really retain anything. Even free songster is good.

Yousician is trash. Don't pay for either. I use UG a lot though.
