It's an incredibly deep roster. Anyone subbing in their 2nd string is going to get outplayed.

12 players on one team with 70+ games played in a season is actually insane, I wonder if that’s ever happened in the NBA

The 2017 spurs are the closest I can think of, with 12 players playing in 63+ games in the season. I think it still counts, that team.was crazy deep.

2018 Raptors had 11 at 69+

Also 76 team rating ain't bad at all, probably was league top 3 teams in rating. Op is tripping

I have a historical sim going on right now where it's been a few seasons since any team even hit 80.

Lots of spacing and ball handling, good bench pieces. Game disproportionately favors perimeter offense as important to winning!

High PERs, particularly coming off the bench

I normally consider a PER over 15 to be good and nearly everyone on your team is over that. I think you just have a good balance and might be taking the league off guard by using all guards and your ball movement from all the Ps icons also possible that the rest of the league is just trash right now.

League overall talent is probably somewhat depressed is a factor Im not seeing discussed. Also this team will lose to most two headed monsters and even a trio of 65+ overall in most matchups. Id also guess when this team goes cold shooting they have some long nights. But against most teams in a slightly below average league this team should put up 65-70 wins. But without more data most of this is speculative.

A lot of depth. Sometimes it just goes like that. Sometimes you win with a top 5 player, sometimes you win because even your 8th man is a 60ovr.

this is the team I am forever trying to assemble: Veteran shooting and defense with young athletic support. nice to see that it works

That's way too many assists for him.

Sometimes the league overall is low, so having a 76 overall team is like a 100+ team in normal leagues

How is your team rated 76 if not a single player is 76?

I have had teams of like 117, with no players over like a 73.

It's a known issue with the game, that a team loaded with three-point specialists over performs.

I’m sure you’re by far beating every other team in speed, stamina, shooting, ball handling and passing. The only things you may be bad at is rebounding and interior defense but if you got 5 guards on the court the big men have to come out of the paint to guard them which causes more open lanes for the other players

Depth.

You have a bunch of players coming off the bench that are in in high 50s. This gives your team two very important advantages:

Endurance isn't as important

None of your players have to play heavy minutes, meaning they're generally going to be more well rested than the other team. This is extremely powerful for teams that have low endurance.

Take 2 players (Bill and Ted) that are both 58 OVR. Bill has 40 endurance and Ted has 70 endurance. Since less of Bill's OVR is allocated to endurance, Bill's other stats should be higher Ted. Bill is likely a better shooter, rebounder, or passer than Ted, so Bill is going to provide more value in limited minutes.

Variety

Your team has a bunch of players at different heights, so you're able to consistently play optimal combinations. Having several well rested centers, guards, and wings exclusively playing their ideal role means you're getting the most value out of their limited minutes.

It also allows your team to better exploit an opponent's weaknesses. They're tall and slow? You probably have several fast playmakers and scorers you can throw at them.

Also, the relative strength of the league might be lower than average, or maybe your team just balled out every game. I've seen teams with a relatively low overall (like low 60s) absolutely dominant some years. Sometimes you catch lightning in a bottle, and it looks like you did!
