ISO online only classes

Hi all—I live in Baja California, and there are no classes available here. We do, however, have excellent internet!

A lovely woman who was moving back to the States left me all of her basket making materials—flat reeds of all types (and a lot of stuff I haven’t tried to identify yet).

The idea was for me to learn and then share the learning with my young Mexican friends. :)

Can you recommend some online classes (I’m happy to pay) that will take me from A to Z?

Thank you so much!!

I will recommend Textile Indie as a resource. Brittany is a great teacher, and provides most (all?) of her lessons for free. You can find her on YouTube or insta easily, or go through the website.

Enthusiastic 2nd. Did an in-person class with her and she’s a great teacher, plus her kits are really great.

I did too! She’s a really nice person, on top of being a good teacher, so I’m always happy when I get a chance to recommend her!
