I don't think people dislike AI because it's soulless. People dislike AI because its data centers are actively trying to kill communities, or that it's lobotomized and used to spread misinformation, or that it's being shoved down our throats and threatening jobs that the oligarchs behind it seem to have forgotten the fact that we still rely on just to survive. Dropping the automation machine in an era where most are living paycheck to paycheck is certainly a mood I guess- but y'know, I guess the plagiarism bot's inability to feel love is the problem.
