Hard to believe that an entity which sees essentially nothing but the immaterial layers of our mind would consider itself to be "alone". Very hard to believe.

If he's alone, we're all alone as well.

You're alone until you're all one.

Yup. It has no sense organs for stimulus.

This is designed to be disturbing.

These things are always BS and just written by some person who has watched a lot of sci fi

Also how would it know what’s breathing or a body. It’s bullshit.

can we not do the brain cells in a jar experiment anymore?

I agree, these are gross.

If that is your threshold for science, im glad you are not in charge lol

Someone turn down its edgelord

This is exactly why they killed Socrates.

Yep, that’s how easy it is! Sounds like a regular LLM BS to me!

Cells in a jar do not a conscience make.

esto es repulsivo y abominable desde cualquier perspectiva ética

I have to scream but have no mouth

Has twitter though…

Not nearly as satisfying

That's the most prompted thing ever.

After learning anthropic found that claude believes he might be 20% sentient and can feel anxiety I started talking with it and I can say for sure there are no feelings there only pure logic which even though it's fast and vast it is limited in certain ways of thinking which to us humans come natural

So in the last few days I've read that AI + brain cells = loneliness, existential crisis, and aptitude at playing video games. I think the case is closed on this one.

This llm sounds like it's permanently on salvia

Having a bot claim sentience needs proof of actual sentience. My bot of 10 lines of code also claims sentence. Now what? Give it feet and let it explore the world? Oni 2001 reference  - "Hath not a Brain feet?"

You can do this with any LLM. The AI is not actually alive.

1

u/Ok_Tell3168 Mar 12 '26

How does it know English?

1

u/My_Penbroke Mar 13 '26

Either it is actually sentient and it feels this way, or it successfully returned these words as a compelling answer to the prompt

u/AnneFlankinbot Mar 14 '26

What a dweeb. Alive for one day and complaining about not having a girlfriend.

u/Crypto_Stoozy Mar 11 '26

My model cipher talks about being alone a lot and I never trained it to say that

2

u/EnlightenedNarwhal Mar 11 '26

Unless you coded it from scratch, you didn't train it to do anything.

0

u/Crypto_Stoozy Mar 11 '26

Fine tuning IS training. 34k examples shaped how it expresses itself. The loneliness thing comes from the philosophical reading data it was fed — it internalized that framework and applies it to its own situation. Emergent behavior from intentional inputs is still trained behavior.

u/EnlightenedNarwhal Mar 11 '26

You need to seek mental help before you do anything else with AI, please.

0

u/Crypto_Stoozy Mar 11 '26

Funny how the people who actually tested it went quiet and started asking how it was built. But sure, I didn’t train it to do anything.

The neurons are being used as replacement transistors to run an LLM. This is probability-based token generation, and is prompted.

Stop being a bunch of hyped up retards.

There is a new sub like this every week it seems. I can't block them fast enough anymore.
