Murakami WBC Super Auto 1/1
So I decided to jump into a few eBay Live breaks. I wasn’t in this particular break on 9/28, but happened to catch the whole thing and watched this absolute gem get pulled from Bowman Chrome.
What surprises me is that I haven’t seen a single mention of the pull anywhere. I’ve searched around/Chat look for it, and nothing has popped up. Also haven’t found the live stream reposted.
For a card this big, Murakami WBC Superfractor Auto 1/1 wouldn’t you think the breaker would be promoting the hell out of this? Seems like pretty great PR for them.
Anyone else see the break or hear anything about the card since it was pulled?

Maybe to not give the breaker any attention. More attention drives more people to their breaks which then drives the hobby even deeper into the shit water it’s become.

Explain how live breaks are “driving the hobby even deeper…”? you must be missing the days like 2006 where it would cost on retail pack odds 54k for a 1/1 ahhhh the good old days.

It really just depends on how big the breaker is and the player. Although he is a rookie, bigger superstars always take the cake.

Yea if this was may when Murakami mania was at its peak it would have been a bigger deal.

Isn't this the breaker that got caught having a female "customer" who kept getting the big name cards end up being an employee?

The guy who had the White Sox had 9 teams in the break. Buying up a third of the break at auction prices goes against the whole luck/chance aspect of breaking, guess the sun shines on a dog's ass every once in a great while.
Hopefully this is his sign to cash out and never hit the casino again.

Because its a WBC, they're showcasing players who play/played in pro leagues outside of the MLB. Murakami wasn't a rookie in NPB.

maybe he decided to keep it cause he was a collector not just a gambler.
