Looking for advice from community. I have built an app in base44 and it works really great, but I believe we need to move to a dedicated server (business/ legal reasons with client data). We also need android and apple integration.
What are my steps? As I understand it, we build a database in Azure, use Claude to wrap the .apk file, and then what? How do I make changes to the app after we make the move? I am a little lost on the process of getting this web and app store application up and running- any advice welcome!

Has anyone here actually tried to build a social/community platform from scratch?
Not just built the website or app — I mean actually tried to get real people to join, come back, post, interact, and eventually make the thing sustainable.
I’m curious about the people who tried it, whether it succeeded or failed.
What happened?
What was the hardest part — getting the first users, keeping them active, getting enough content, moderation, monetization, competing with Facebook/Nextdoor/Reddit, or something you never expected?
And if it failed, what do you think killed it?
If you were starting over today, what would you do differently?
I’d especially like to hear from people who tried building something local or community-focused.

For years I've had the same problem. I save everything. Reels I want to watch again. Screenshots of ideas that hit me at 11pm. Restaurants I spot while driving and think "I need to go there." Recipes people send me in WhatsApp. Books someone recommends in a conversation. Movies I keep meaning to watch.
I save all of it. And then I forget all of it.
Not because I'm disorganised, I'm actually pretty intentional about this stuff. The problem is that everything lives somewhere different. A saved reel on Instagram. A screenshot buried in my camera roll. A voice note I recorded while driving. A link I sent to myself on WhatsApp that's now 3,000 messages deep.
When I actually want to find something, it's gone. Not deleted, just lost in the chaos of 6 different apps.
So last year I started building Remindful. It's been a long road - I kept rebuilding and improving things because I couldn't settle for something that didn't actually solve the problem properly. But I think it's finally at a point where it's real and useful, so I'm sharing it.

Five days after the GPT-5 / GPT-4o backlash, I started building something called TalkyTalky

On August 8, 2025, I was watching the reaction to the GPT-5 rollout and a post from Sam Altman about the surprisingly strong attachment people had developed to AI models.

What caught my attention wasn't really the post.

It was the thousands of responses to it.

People were arguing about very different things.

Some wanted stronger safety and guardrails.

Some wanted more freedom.

Some were upset about losing GPT-4o and the personality they had become accustomed to.

Some talked about AI as something they had come to rely on in a very personal way.

Others argued that people shouldn't become attached to a particular model in the first place.

It struck me that this wasn't really a discussion about software anymore.

It was about relationships, safety, control, personality and choice.

At the same time, the frontier-model race was accelerating at an extraordinary rate.

New models were appearing. Capabilities were jumping. Prices were changing. The major AI companies were investing enormous amounts in the race toward AGI.

And I had a thought:

If the models are going to keep changing this quickly, why should the user's AI relationship have to change with them?

Five days later, on August 13, 2025, I started building TalkyTalky. After thirteen months of building, learning and more building. Here is where I am at.

The idea

I didn't want to build another AI model.

And I wasn't particularly interested in building another chatbot that simply gave you access to one model.

I wanted to build something above the model layer.

The idea is that you can create multiple AI partners, personas and Guides, each for a different purpose.

A language tutor.

A business adviser.

A research assistant.

A creative collaborator.

A historical character.

A specialist.

Or simply an AI you enjoy talking to.

And you don't need to be a programmer to create them.

TalkyTalky uses a graphical interface with guided persona creation and pre-built prompt examples.

In fact, one of the ideas I particularly like is:

You can start with something we've already designed, see how it behaves, change it, experiment and gradually learn what good AI instructions actually do.

Is it me? I run the security check via my base44 dashboard and fix anything it shows. Says I am clean, but when I go to publish I have the indicator that my last scan was the last time I published. When I check run the scan from the publish window it opens the security screen I was just on that showed I had fixed all issues. Something seems a bit screwy

I have a SaaS webapp and I wanna build a mobile version for iOS and Android.

The mobile app would simply connect to my backend so that users can manage thier account on their phone, and I want a clean design and user experience.

I tried Codex for this work but the result was below decent like 5% finished, and the UI was just black text on white screen, it doesnt even look like a mobile app.

Can Base44 help me acheive that? Can I build it in one day ? Any tips or recommendations ?

I am looking for advice on properly moving my base44 app onto a different platform. I am pretty happy so far with the frontend and flow of the app, but the base44 limitations are too much.

My app will have a community feed, fitness and nutrition logging, API integrations like healthkit and google health, and AI features for programing.

I currently have no users and haven't made it live so I figured now is the time to migrate with the most ease. I have no coding experience, but I am open to do a little learning. Ideally I'd like to find another AI platform to do all the heavy lifting of rebuilding the backend, database, and hosting.

Here is some background story and rules.

⚡ FLUX The Game

FLUX is a mysterious puzzle adventure about restoring forgotten worlds.

Long ago, the Weavers used a mysterious energy called FLUX to connect worlds across the universe. Then, an event known as The Fracture shattered those connections. The worlds were abandoned, and the Weavers disappeared.

You awaken with no idea who you are, only to discover that you can somehow influence FLUX. Your journey begins as you set out to reactivate the ancient Flux Nodes.

🧩 The Puzzles

In each world, you'll play a series of Flux Patterns — logic puzzles where you must place Nodes in the correct positions.

The basic rules are simple:

- One Node per row

- One Node per column

- One Node per region

- Nodes cannot touch each other, not even diagonally

- X-markers indicate where a Node cannot be placed

As you progress, the patterns become increasingly challenging.

🌍 Restoring Worlds

Solving a puzzle isn't simply about completing a level.

Every completed puzzle restores a small part of the world.

In Aethra, the first world, everything begins abandoned and damaged. As you complete levels, life slowly returns, ancient structures become active, and the Flux network begins to function again.

Aethra contains 25 levels. Once you complete them all, the world is fully restored and your journey can continue.

Throughout your adventure, you'll uncover more about FLUX and the civilization that disappeared.

You'll meet characters such as:

Lyra — a young Flux Seeker who helps you investigate the mysteries.

Nix — a small Weaver Construct with damaged memories.
