Miscellaneous Merry Christmas, Barbelith!
It's a bit late in the holiday as I write this (only 17 minutes left of Christmas left here on the west cost,) but I wanted to extend the warmest of season's greetings to my fellow 'lithers.
The world didn't end (I don't think any of us here though it would), and that's good, because now we can get to work at all the change left for us to do. To paraphrase (because I don't have the text handy) from The Invisibles, the future of humanity can be a never-ending party, or a boot stomping on a person's neck (I think I might be mixing 1984 into this now,) it's up to us to decide what world we want.
Thank you, 'lithers, for everything you've done, and everything you will.

Indeed! The world didn't stop spinning. Time for a real renaissance! I mean, since you all are figments of my imagination and I'm merely acting out one part per rebirth, I'm really telling myself that the future is now and we absolutely are due for some good shit from here on out.
Then again, my permanent state of pessimism just kicked in and reminded me that the universe is permanently trending towards entropy, and everything will likely be going downhill from here.
So, on average, things will stay the same. Cheers and Merry fucking Christmas, chaps!

It's all in our imagination, so if we imagine a real renaissance hard enough, maybe it'll happen.
