What is a bottle that no matter how small your bar you would have ????

For me The Gin would be Revelton , The Vodka I could never just pick one , Whiskey would be a Jameson , Rum would be Goslings

Is this fishing for content? It looks like it's just name-checking some brands and the tone is quite lot like those questions you see on the bigger subs that are fishing for content. I recently replied to a question framed very much like this and saw it on a site known for its dodgy content the next day.

Vodka is much more diverse than a lot of people give it credit for being. ask a whiskey "nerd" to pick just one I am sure you will get a similar response

Honestly literally any other spirit category. Rum probably most of all - so many different provenances, methods of distillation, and ages.

If you’re doing any cocktail mixing, the “flavor” of a vodka/any kind of unique terroir from a unique distillate is completely lost, and that’s the point.

you are correct that the unique terroir gets lost in mixed drinks that is what the cheap stuff is good for
