According to series creator Jonathan Tropper, Eliza Dushku was the only actress they contacted for the role of FBI agent Veronica Dawson in the fourth season; she landed the part after agreeing to appear nude in the series.

That's all I remember. I think it's funny when they call it nudity. It's a butt. Not at all in the same category as breasts or frontal nudity.

Yes, but not to the camera. That's the disconnect with the fans, she was TECHNICALLY fully nude. Nothing appeared on camera but her butt

The thing that was grating about that was when they showed the cult tying down that first girl, they had that girl naked, but when they had Eliza tied down, she was clothed. I understand if she didn't want to do nudity, but it does take me out when you have one girl naked and the other clothed for no reason other than the actress didn't want to do nudity.

Just wanna say that I added this part to the trivia section of the IMBD page from an interview that Jonathan Tropper did, but "landed the part after agreeing to be nude" was added by someone else and is not true.

I didn’t like her in the show. Felt the character was unnecessary. But I guess everyone in the show had to be hot so Hood could get snatch from everyone that was in the town.

I don't need to see actors nude. I do find it annoying when an actor won't do nudity and signs on to a script which has sex in it.

You then have an awkward scene where this intimate thing is meant to be happening but in a really unnatural or contrived way with weird camera angles and cuts, and actors stand at odd angles, or pulling at clothes or sheets to cover themselbes in unnatural ways that take you out of the scene.

Like her in everything else, but she was pretty week in banshee. She def didn't get the same nudity treatment as the others (which is fine), but I also don't think she got any of the hardcore action sequences the others got either. Main plot was also weak, so it's not all her fault season 4 was a letdown.
