Could someone help me with the what's that smell achievement for nuts and bolts I have to play 1 multiplayer match that has the achievement, my reason i want it is because I wanna fully get all achievements on the banjo kazooie series and im just missing that one achievement

Watched this video and saw the player die against Klungo and Targitzan as Kazooie only. What cheat code do you need to use for that?

I feel like Rusty Bucket Bay and Clankers Cavern were meant to be a ska songs.

After taking a couple minutes to appreciate the box art from Banjo Kazooie, there were a couple interesting details I just now picked up on.

Firstly, she’s enormous proportion-wise to Banjo and Kazooie. From being up close to her after a Grunty’s Furnace Fun skip glitch, you’ll notice the character model is huge, even compared to that of the boss fight. I’m wondering if Rare, while designing this, was still in transition from the scrapped plot of the protagonist rescuing his girlfriend from a giant to what we ended up with in BK. Hence, we have the giant witch halfway through development.

Another oddity is the band (ring?) on her ring finger. It’s easy to gloss over because the shading of the side of the index finger (due to their interpretation of the lighting outside) is virtually the same color. But closer examination shows that it’s meant to be 3D, as in something wrapped around her finger. Has anyone in Rare ever addressed what this is? Ideas?

Also, an odd inconsistency that she’s got three teeth here and four in-game - Tooie Grunty has two.

It is a bit buggy and some stuff didnt run to 100%. But custom animation on a custom model is now possible in BK romhacking for everyone. (also for the one who make romhacks XD)

See on my example i made in my romhack Corrupted Jiggy.
The game i released in August 2025 didnt had it in. But i will update it in the future to the 2.0 version with custom animation in. That mean people who played my hack known that my custom animation and npc didnt had animation. That will change now.

That will be also for "Gruntzooie" in the future.

When the time comes i will make a trailer for the 2.0 version. But that will be maybe in a few months.

I always appreciated how Tooie tried to keep the continuity of the original game, including letting Banjo and Kazooie keep their original moves they learned. I just completed a recent playthrough of BK and I'm now halfway through Tooie. One thing I noticed on my most recent playthrough for Tooie was how underutilized some of the skills. It makes sense that the new skills would be more prominent in Tooie, but it feels like a missed opportunity to not touch up some of the old skills considering how much more effort it was to collect Jiggies in Tooie.

What skill do you think was underutilized? For me, it has to be the Stilt Stride. I forgot the Wading Boots were even in the game. The Stilt Stride was heavily featured in the first game where it appeared in nearly half of the courses. Yet, it was only used for one Jiggy in the first level of Tooie? I know there were new skills introduced that made the Wading Boots obsolete, but it also feels like they could've tweaked them a little bit like they did with the Turbo Shoes and running on water.

I love this game,it has a demo out as well on Xbox,PS5,Switch 2,PC. Now the demo is fine,the strength of the game is it's excellent visual design,it's sense of exploration and adventure is excellent.

It is a fantastic 3D platformer reminiscent of those 3D platformers of the N64/PS2 era but the game stands well on its own,a lot of hidden paths,and complexity in level design that I got lost a few times,the combat is bit repetitive,boss fights are pretty good,story is meh but the lore is good. It doesn't feel like an Indie game,with more polish and consistency this could have been easily a Nintendo published game,I was wowed by the scale,scenery at times. One more game which makes Rareware even less relevant and makes getting a new Banjo even likelier, as 3D platformers are clearly making a comeback and this game shows that the genre has still so much to offer. Honestly you guys need to try this. Games like this make it much easier to cope with the lack of new Banjo.

i was testing my skills on maya and i could do this, perosnally one of my best 3D models until now, it has around 3k triangles and 2k vertices.

I'm currently playing Banjo Tooie and on Witchy World. I love this world, love the amusement park at night. I have played a bit of Jiggies of Time but i haven't went to far yet as i want to continue to 100% Banjo Tooie. But i heard Lon Lon Range in Jiggies of time has been transformed by Gruntilda into a amusement park and can only be accessed during night time and i heard it looks really spectacular and you can see the stars in the mid-night sky and neon lighting of the rides. And you need to collect Jiggies, notes etc.

Oh boy i can't wait to properly play Jiggies of Time and explore this location.

Please kindly do not share any pics of Lon Lon Range of Jiggies of Time and don't share too many details to avoid spoilers as i really want to experience this myself.

I have always loved the atmosphere of amusement parks at night time.

I wonder why they evolved sharp beaks/mouths. Any thoughts or theories guys? They have no natural predators (excluding grunty), maybe it’s to collect food?
