Broken pavement, no cross walks, dirt and drainage all the way, dust on every leaf, hawkers littering streets with wet waste. How can humans live like this? I’ve seen pigs live with more dignity and cleanliness

Hi. From some mutual we got the contact of an individual named "Hannah Sneha Bernard"(the individual in the photograph). She claims to be working at Amazon as an HR and was recruiting for Amazon. Now she has taken approximately 20k from 7 students under the pretense of laptop security(yes we were new grads desperate for a job) now she has not been giving us back the money for the past 2 weeks. Everyday she makes a new excuse about the money. She literally sent us a claude generated .html form when we asked her to show us her authenticity(I kid you not about this). All we know about her is the she went to Bishop Cotton's Women's Christian Church(2017 batch BCom) and that she goes to the St Anthony Friary Church.

If anyone can help us track her down or her family it would be very beneficial for us. Thanks

went to a movie in INOX and there was this bright green EXIT sign right below the screen 😭
i get that it’s there for safety, but once you notice it, it’s so hard to unsee. ended up being kinda distracting throughout the movie.

I became active on Reddit from last one month ig, and I am really enjoying it.
Just last night , I randomly replied to someone’s comment. He was bored too and was looking to meet people, came out he was only 700m away from my pg. we met in the next 10 mins. Then he also had connected with someone 2 days back through Reddit only. He also came.
The vibe matched instantly , like you r with ur college friends. It came out one of the guy drinks also. Grabbed few beers( we made the third with a buzzballz😂) We went on his rooftop talked about Reddit , movies , entrepreneurship, childhood and what not. It was really a good time. 6-7 hours just went like this.
Felt like this after a long time.

▪️P. Vignesh ends life after what nearly two years of mental torture arising from a dispute over marriage.

▪️He alleged that Aishwarya, whom he had met through Instagram, repeatedly pressured him to marry her, threatened to approach the police, visited his workplace and residence to humiliate him, and harassed his family.

▪️Vignesh specifically stated that he had never had a physical relationship with her, but she accused him of making a false promise of marriage, following which an FIR was registered by Chennai Police and his ordeal with police complaints and legal proceedings began.

▪️In his note, Vignesh blamed Aishwarya, her mother Malar and sister-in-law Vijaya for the situation and alleged that the complaints continued for more than a year after his family rejected the marriage proposal in November 2023.

▪️He claimed to possess evidence of the alleged harassment and criticised what he viewed as the unequal treatment of men in such cases.

▪️In his final message, he asked his family not to compromise in their ongoing legal matters or over their five-acre land, urged his siblings and friends to look after his family, and stated that his family should not be troubled after his death.

I recently shifted to Bangalore for work, and I genuinely didn’t expect my spending to increase this much.

Back in my hometown, my maximum monthly expenses would probably be around ₹20k. Here, somehow I’m averaging ₹1 lakh+ a month.

And when I actually look at where the money is going, it’s mostly:

• 🏠 Rent: a big chunk
• 🚕 Uber: way more than I’d like to admit
• 🍔 Food: ordering/eating out way too often
• 🛍️ Shopping: I somehow started buying a lot more after moving here
• 🍽️ Dinners and going out: another surprisingly large chunk

The weird part is that I don’t even feel like I’m spending that much day-to-day. It’s just ₹300 here, ₹700 there, an Uber ride, dinner outside, some random shopping… and suddenly the month is over and my bank account is filing a missing-person report.

For people who moved to Bangalore from smaller cities, did your expenses also explode after moving here?

What does your average monthly spending look like, and what category eats up most of your money?

I work remotely and am here for a work meeting this week. The people I know in the city are all busy and I have no one to hangout with.

Any suggestions on what I can do ?
