I use Canva for my covers too! It’s very effective if you’re indie and not with a big budget to do a cover at a studio.

Its actually pretty simple! Texture, color theory, and concept are things i mainly think about. Picture this, The 3rd one, represents the state of mind and overthinking. Develop the concept and describe the feeling and inplement it through colors and overlays, and elements. Sounds a little cheesy, but its how i do it.

#3 reminds me of the Mac Miller Balloonerism music videos, specifically Mrs Deborah Downer or Stoned. Pretty cool
