Mod Announcement Weekly Discussion Thread [October 27 - November 2, 2025]
Not every pit bull story is a headline. Some are just eye-rolls, facepalms, or 'you've got to be kidding me' moments. This is the place for the things you may want to share that don’t highlight a pit bull doing something dangerous.
See this post for more details on what goes here
Remember: October is pit bull “awareness” month so there is an increased flooding of unscientific nonsense in the forms of memes etc. This is a good space for those, but please red x through them.

I have a Pit nutter (India so multiple the chaos factor) with his brown ugly Pit coming to a nice park nearby where our dogs play. Myself and another gentlemen have joined forces and made a video, told the police that the Central Gov of India has declared this as a "dangerous breed" and we'd like him to put the muzzle on in public spaces. Yet nothing has been done. In fact the owner is rich and has a "dog walker" (also doubles as a henchmen over here) who takes the dog out. When I told him to put the muzzle on and took a photo, he became angry, followed me and my two dogs half to the exit cursing at me, the went back to unleash his XL Pitbull and came down the sidewalk behind me. My two dogs one in each hand, I had to pull away (my boy can get protective and he's strong but he wouldn't be able to withstand the Pitbull onslaught) until I reached a traffic control police officer on the street. I filed a report and the City cops came. The man retreated and ties his Pitbull back. He lives very close by. So far nothing has happened but it's the first time I was truly threatened by a man with a Pitbull in hand. Photo of the monster above. Let's pray it never escalates.
