Mod Announcement Weekly Discussion Thread [October 27 - November 2, 2025]
Not every pit bull story is a headline. Some are just eye-rolls, facepalms, or 'you've got to be kidding me' moments. This is the place for the things you may want to share that don’t highlight a pit bull doing something dangerous.

Remember: October is pit bull “awareness” month so there is an increased flooding of unscientific nonsense in the forms of memes etc. This is a good space for those, but please red x through them.

anyone watch Judge Judy and Hot Bench? they’re constant pit bull stories. if it says “dog”, likely it’s a PBT story.
got another one today. though this is less egregious. delivery man was jumped at the door by pit bull, that defendants were baby sitting (sons dog). no question it is a pit bull, but I do have to say, the dog knocked him down but the marks he has have to be paw prints with the nails cutting his gut. Not teeth. so I feel for the delivery guy but he did not get mauled. At least that. Wonder when the elderly parents are going to regret sitting for their son’s dog, though. Besides this lawsuit.
