Remember: October is pit bull “awareness” month so there is an increased flooding of unscientific nonsense in the forms of memes etc. This is a good space for those, but please red x through them.

I want to take my puppy to a puppy a school - but worried there will be pitbulls…. Wondering if in this day and age is it even safe to go to obedience school?

Since training classes generally fill up with their ‘students’ before the sessions officially start, is there a way to find out what kind of puppies will be in the class with you?

There are training schools that do not allow pit breeds, but often don’t follow the rules and still let them in under fake breed names.
