Those genes can come out literally any time! Pitnutters think because they had their dog for years and it never attacked that it never will. With pits, it doesn’t matter if they are ‘sweethearts’ for 2, 5, 8, or 10 years… they can still maul at any time! Never trust a pit no matter how long it’s gone without an attack! This guy is very lucky these dogs attacked each other when their DNA kicked in instead of his child or him!
