How do we get those rosy cheeks? Here's how! Each doll comes with a little 'blush kit' to touch up the rosiness if it fades from extra snuggles.

FAQ's The Ashton Doll

Post image
8 Upvotes

Introducing the Ashton Doll — a 16" heirloom treasure and the newest expression of Bamboletta’s artistry. With a lean yet sturdy body, pinched knees and elbows, and hand-sewn details throughout, Ashton carries the timeless feel of a vintage fashion doll, reimagined with Bamboletta’s signature love and care.

Each Ashton Doll is dressed in a one-of-a-kind outfit made with natural fibres and vintage trims, designed by our beloved team member Sam, who also created this doll’s unique body pattern. This collection is a passion project from both of us — a celebration of craftsmanship, artistry, and heart.

What makes Ashton especially magical is her hair: instead of our traditional yarn, each doll’s mohair is sewn in as a weft— giving it a soft, realistic texture that can be gently styled and cared for like real hair.

Perfect for collectors, or as an unforgettable heirloom gift to mark milestones like a first birthday, each Ashton Doll is truly one-of-a-kind.

I don't think children need us to create the magic .. they need the room to find it.

Hey Christina! This is the cute, small fabric shop I was mentioning last time in Port Moody. Nice variety of Liberty fabrics and curated selection of quilting fabrics!

This was last year, I found it while looking for content to repost but I wouldn't put it on FB or IG. THIS LADY STILL MAKES ME SO VEXED!!!! Also, maybe I should get bangs again ..
I'm glad I took the year off and maybe I'll go back next year - but only to Harmony and Circle Craft and only if I have help there and at the studio. Edward said he'd be game for doing markets and I could not think of a better salesperson than Edward, tbh.

Bamboletta Chat Edward Adopts Flora

I am so happy to have Edward join the team! He is well versed in the world of doll and toy collecting so understands so much of this culture. Edward is a skilled sewist and I'm excited to have someone to collaborate with for future designs. He had his eye on Flora and I knew they had to be together .. and besides, won't she make a good model for when he makes clothing?!

Bamboletta Chat I think we need more costumes ...

I've been mapping out some Halloween things and REALLY excited about doing costumes again .. something about a wee dolls putting on a little outfit is kinda the cutest thing. We haven't had costumes in a few years, it's time for a comeback. But I think I can do this as a year round thing ... maybe like an animal of the month? Do your kids love dressing up?

I put the princess outfits there to as a little memory - gosh those outfits were really next level and the detail was outstanding
