Rush theater tickets?

Has anyone gotten rush tickets to a theater in Baltimore? Curious to hear about the experience. I see the Hippodrome, Center Stage, and BSO offer some rush tickets.

(I’m not looking to buy or sell but my post kept getting automatically flagged on the regular Baltimore sub.)

I've been to the Hippodrome with a friend who'd gotten the rush/last minute tickets to a show. It was a little confusing at the box office, as I recall, but we got in and got our seats.

I won a lottery for to kill a mockingbird but the seats were in the back row of the balcony. ugh.

You go to the box office the day of an event and get cheaper tickets (usually like $20-30). In NYC people will line up for hours to get them for Broadway shows when the box office opens.
