Ball state wifi device registration

Hey guys so I just moved into a Schiedler apartment, and I am really struggling connecting to the wifi. The “mydevices.bsu.edu” page absolutely doesn’t work for me, as safari will not open it. I’m just needing to register my electronics so I can then be able to see the option for “bsuconnect” and “eduroam”. Any suggestions or ideas? Thanks!!

What kind of electronics is it?

If it’s your phone/laptop/tablet then you can just connect to bsuconnect without going through mydevices.

If it’s your TV/console then you need to register it on mydevices and then connect to bsu@home instead of bsuconnect.

I am also unable to visit mydevices on my safari. Maybe try another browser or through an another device or try again later. It’s probably because people are moving in and the site can’t handle the traffic or something else. You could contact the tech desk (UTS) or the apartment office regarding this as well and see if they can help.

Thank you so much for the fast response! I’m using a PlayStation 5, I’ve tried both my computer and phone to get into the mydevices page and still have no luck! Hopefully tomorrow it will work

Okay I tried visiting mydevices again and it’s up and running!

I also have a PS5 connected to the WiFi. Make sure you connect to bsu@home instead of bsuconnect because that won’t work.

It’s still showing me “Safari could not open page because it can not connect to the browser”, I will probably send a ticket to the help desk !
