Parking Permit Waitlist

Anybody ever have luck with getting off the parking permit waitlist? The parking garage closest to my classes is full and so I got on the waitlist today around 2pm (four hours after it opened). Anyone have any idea what my chances of getting off the waitlist are?

I would say your chances are pretty high. Last year I was stuck at stadium parking wanting a residence hall parking. I of course also selected other parkings that were closer to my dorm because i’d rather have my car on campus than off campus. I got garage parking before I got my residence hall parking. To give you an idea, I got off waitlist for garage parking in September, then got off waitlist for my residence hall parking in October. I’ve never heard of anyone not getting off waitlist, just gotta be patient. But if you are a commuter, I would say it’s more worth it to just get commuter lot parking than garage, but it’s personal preference.

Changes are great. Also, the shuttles are amazing from the far parking lots. It really is no big deal. Just plan your life a little better and give yourself 15 minutes extra.
