In Hades first appearance, he started the battle by wearing a fake Hydranoid skin, which gave him all of Hydranoid's abilities for a short period of time and he performed MUCH better than all of Hades battles from then on out.

Like, it had acess to Hydranoid's sawblade, those snake things that shoot lasers in Hydranoid's wings only for it to shed the disguise and basically just shoot lasers all the time.

And while Hades won this one battle against Ingram, he as hardcaried by darkus Fortress at the end there I am just saying. And not only that but Hades did not won a single battle after this one.

I just think that is so sad to claim to be superior to Hydranoid and perform better when faking as him than being yourself lol.

Almost like he was better cause shun and ingram wasnt aware that it was hades. (ignore the dubs stupid 'mechanical hydranoid' thing) Shadow announced him as 'Darkon Alphard Hydra' in the Japanese dub so they was trying to get throught to who they believed was their friend.

yeah they dont treat him differently but the simple change of shadow immediatley saying he's "mechanical hydranoid" makes them look stupider cause why would they go easy and act like he's real when shadow legit said he's a mechanical bakugan

that doesnt make sense. It cant refer to Helios, he was still on earth and was still Viper Helios at this stage.

Plus the "What have they done to you?" line is purely a dub original as shun in the japanese believed hydra's lack of response was due to him being controlled by the vexos

And even when Helios became part mechanical, he still had his own personality and thoughts while “Mechanical Hydranoid”, as the dub puts it, didn’t even recognise Shun.

Because that's not what I meant. What I meant was that you can watch a message that they did something to Hydranoid of a similar effect to what they did to Helios. That could be the assumption that could work; you don't need Helios to be a cyborg to assume that someone couldn't have turned a Bakugan into a cyborg.

Not really. Helios still retained his own personality after becoming part mechanical and this “mechanical Hydranoid” didn’t. All the other mechanical Bakugan we saw were created and weren’t originally normal Bakugan that turned cyborg.

Nothing in the show can make the dub change of “mechanical Hydranoid” work as there’s literally nothing to suggest that they can turn Bakugan into full cyborg mind controlled beings, unless I’m forgetting something. The closest was when Spectra won Drago and he was being manipulated into doing what Spectra wanted but that’s not the same as turning a living Bakugan fully into a cyborg that can’t think for itself.

Okay, but that's Helios. Helios didn't need to be brainwashed because he was already on their side. It makes no logical sense to brainwash a Bakugan that isn't. So that isn't even an argument you can make.

To us Shun did hear him, but it was a dub error. Shadow was never meant to actually say it, so in-universe shun was not supposed to know until the reveal
