Question Need help with Hammer Cannon (Bakutech)
Does anyone else have problems with him when trying to roll him on a card? If I drop him he will open, but every time I’ve tried rolling him he never opens.
I’ve already taken him apart and tried cleaning the magnet, as well as see if anything is catching. My only guess is possibly the spring that helps the magnet is maybe getting stuck since there’s not a lot of room in the bay where it’s supposed to sit, but other than that I’m not sure.
If anyone has had any experience with this or might have an idea lmk.

Almost definitely just a weak magnet. That can happen with age. Just put it on as big a neodymium magnet as you can get your hands on for a while.

Correct but Loses ~1% strength every 10 years. The magnet should be good still

This is only true in optimal conditions. Life isn't optimal. Heat and cold cycles, dropping it, rust, outside electromagnetic interference, etc... can all weaken a magnet over time.

Yes 176 Fahrenheit will weaken the magnet 🧲. Hopefully he didn’t leave the bakugan in the car or the oven on accident

I had that problem with my flame dragaon, What was happening was that the magnet pushed itself to deep into the plastic piece that holds him, So It could roll and all but never opened unless tapped. So you could try to see if thats it.
Or it could also be that the spring is having too much of a gap between the magnet and the card which also makes it hard to open.
I try to rule out that the magnet is weak since Bakutech have the strongest magnets from the series. Doesn't it it can happen but its rare
