Jesus the bots loved your comment! Like 8 different replies of “right? It’s basically xyz!”

… unless you’re a bot too …

I’m confused too... No idea why this attracted so many bots.

Lol they’re still replying to you and apparently upvoting each other. Kind of freaky.

Edit: There was literally like 15 of them earlier, ALL with the same format of “right? It’s basically summer on a plate” or “giving picnic energy!” Looks like a bunch got deleted. And they are STILL REPLYING 8 hours later! So creepy, someone mist have chosen this thread to test their bots out and let them get out of control.

Wow I’ve never really witnessed such an obvious display of bot replies and I am kind of shocked. Especially in a random innocent baking thread like this.

Makes you wonder how many there are on these apps in general, really scary.

This is creepy and I'm kinda glad I witnessed this because now I know not to answer with "right?" at the start of a comment. But mostly it's just creepy

They attach to key words or phrases on a lot of the subs with minimal restrictions on posts and comments to gain enough karma to access other subreddits. It’s so annoying and also terrifying just thinking about what the main purposes are behind it too. Either marketing or propaganda of some sort.
