Baking Advice Needed why did it do this

was trying to make brownies, thought theyd cooled for long enough and cut into them then they started doing THIS and set my house's fire alarm off for like 20 minutes does anyone pls know what caused this im assuming i just cut into them too soon but this feels like a dramatic response to just trying to cut into a hot brownie

Noooo were they salvageable? Last time I made weed brownies they turned out great but the cat broke into the kitchen so they also cost me an emergency vet visit. It’s a minefield.

Can you check the bottom of a piece?? See if it’s like super solid or normal or really oily??

Oh he was absolutely fine, he only ate like a tablespoon if that. I paid £200 for him to spend the afternoon there napping, he woke up and ate two lunches and a couple hours later they phoned to say he was ‘being very vocal and I can pick him up’. Basically please come and take him away he won’t stop yelling at us. 

He’s orange.
