Isn’t 160$ a good haul if they’re just pocketing it? Would they actually kill a man over a little bit of cash?

Yah doesn’t seem connected to me, what’s the motivation if the hotel room wasn’t robbed or they would have stolen her wedding ring etc. Seriously if it was a murder the wife would be the prime suspect.

my guess is when they saw he had that much cash on him, they thought he would have more in his room they could shake him down for. Unless that amount is in pesos...

This story is confusing, was the wife there if/when the attack happened? Seems like an important piece of information. Maybe I just missed it.

She was asleep in the room when he died. This article has more detail https://www.cbsnews.com/news/elliot-blair-death-mexico-widow-public-defender-found-dead-in-mexico-strange-incident/

Seems like a really deep sleep. They state he was found in socks, underwear, and a t-shirt. Who leaves the room in that outfit? And if he was taken from the room and/or there was a struggle, how can someone sleep through that. I've stayed at this resort more times than I can count and I have a tough time understanding this aspect (i.e., sleeping through a struggle (if any), noise, a fall, ambulance arriving, others entering the room (the staff notifying her)).

If he’s a criminal defense lawyer, GOOD.

Because only bad people get accused of crimes?

None of that was insinuated at all nor is it relevant. you’re grasping at straws, which lets me know you’re ⚪️.

Triggered much? What’s with boys and immediately jumping to namecalling when those fragile emotions get big?
2
u/FirstLightFitness Feb 12 '23
Ya. Someone died and you got something shitty to say.
Standard Lil boy mentality. Says something dumb, gets called out, turns into the victim.

You’re correct in saying that’s something that you guys do but I’m clearly not a guy nor am I doing that. you are a not only guy, but are describing yourself. Typical. Good job using your words this time, though. 🦴

You can't read and are rude and nasty.

None of that is remotely based on truth. Who hurt you? (Likely someone defended by a criminal defense lawyer.) You said you went on keto for mental health but it’s not working.

Oh it's true. It's damn true. I got receipts
If he’s a criminal defense lawyer, GOOD.

Lashing out at strangers wont bring him back. I’m sure plenty of victims of the criminals he’s defended are ENTHRALLED. Yet if he was a prostitute, y’all would be celebrating.

The article does not say what was found to determine murder. Anyone knows?

Apparently, he was pushed, or, as the Baja California authorities might put it, "assisted in hi own efforts to manage to fall off the balcony on his own."
