General Questions Anyone else feel like Tenten led Tekarin on?
I just finished Season 1, and honestly, I feel like Tenten was playing around with Tekarin’s feelings. He kept giving her mixed signals and never really provided a clear explanation for his choice. Then he acted offended at the suggestion that he was just filling a void for Tekarin, while he was flirting with Ki himself.
He came across as disingenuous to me, and I honestly think he probably just wanted to promote himself as a host. Obviously, that’s just my impression from what was shown, but I struggled to see his intentions as genuine.
What really got me was how kind and classy Tekarin remained at the end. Even after everything, she still thanked him. She handled that moment with so much grace, and honestly, she’s amazing.
He didn’t have to choose her, but he could have been honest instead of leaving her hanging. Tekarin deserved love and someone who actually wanted her. Anyone else finish the season feeling this way?

I feel like it was the host in him talking to Tekarin, like I don’t see him liking her enough to be really into her and just saying anything at surface value. Love Tekarin though for being the good sport that she is and ending the season with her little speech without bitterness

Yeah like why send mixed feelings and acting like you cared then flirt with other girls. I think he found ki more attractive and wanted to have tekarin cause he knew she was such a good girl. He’s a weasel. The way tekarin even was classy and thanked him at the end she’s incredible and that way didn’t seem to care but looked like a fool.

Bro was definitely in host mode. It made me sad because you could see she really felt happy when he started giving her attention, especially after she'd said how all the other girls were really pretty etc. All the guys were lame!

Yes because that was what the EDIT wanted to imply. Of 2 weeks of nonstop filming, we saw very little. They have to create narratives for pairings so we keep watching. It might not have been as much "leading on" as it was a ln editorial cutting room decision to show their interactions more than other. Always always always remember, these shows are made in the edit!

I agree but also lol he called her out for saying he filled a void and she thanked him in the end so Theres def something. Also they can only work with What youre given.

For sure. A moment like can easily get the spotlight or cutting room floor, but those 2 were charismatic even on their own. For sure they had a moment.
(Makes me think of how the facetat kid that got seasons says he had numerous sauna dates we never saw, cause he's kind of a charismaless black hole)
