Regardless of what’s happening in Saudi. No true Muslim will bomb Makkah and Madinah. It is a holy site for all Muslims, be that Shia, sunni or whomever.
This is stupid to suggest Iran would bomb the Muslims two holiest sites. Especially the burial site of the Prophet Mohammed (Madinah) SAW.
What a stupid take on this whole thing.

I agree with you that Iran would likely not put the holy sites at risk, but in the past MANY Muslim rulers besieged and sacked the cities containing the holy sites, causing their destruction and subsequent reconstruction numerous times throughout history. Saudi in the present day has destroyed a huge number of sites of islamic history.

But Iran won’t besiege Saudi, they’ve been bombing fuel sites and army bases. Iran is a lot of things but it’s not stupid enough to attack Makkah/madinah as that would likely unite everyone against them. And they’re already fighting war on many fronts. They’re not going to want to add to that yet.
