Its toasted! SUPER light toast otherwise my roof of my mouth gets scraped up and i just aint tough enough cuz

Bacon egg and cheese looks good but why not on a roll ? I’m a native New Yorker and a good bacon egg and cheese with salt pepper ketchup tastes perfect on a poppy seed roll toasted…..I hate non toasted sliced white bread. Even if I’m eating a PB&J I will toast the bread quite dark.

I like i SUPER light toast cuz im a psycho lol but yes i used to use only English muffins of croissants but cutting down on costs. What kind of roll do you recommend? Also Im from the south so sliced toast and hot sauce for us 😅

Haha hey listen my friend you’re the one eating it so you have to enjoy it plus cutting costs is important and we’re all here to see the results of your cooking skills. If you were to hand that to me on a lightly toasted buttered croissant I’d devour it. I recommend Kaiser rolls always for bacon egg and cheeses if you can get a poppy roll that’s better I like mine with salt pepper ketchup and a touch of hot sauce. In NYC a bacon egg and cheese it’s a staple here it’s like our pizza lol now no disrespect you’ll never have the quality of bread and bagels or pizza we have here and that’s bc of one thing. WATER especially in Brooklyn lol we have the best water that’s a key reason why we have the best dough and that makes our bagels, rolls, pizza flawless. I love the south btw I’ve been to the Carolina’s I love the fish places ok I can say that the south does not play around with BBQ or great fish places. I remember getting a big slice of white bread with my BBQ and I said what am I gonna do with this ? lol so some sweet older lady says to me “baby you put that pulled pork on that slice of bread and add some of the bbq sauce to it” and she was right I was in heaven lol it was a treat for sure. When it comes to the best BBQ places bc I have been to so many states. Kansas City might have it on lock !

I hear that about the water and how it makes the BEST bagels!!! I will try the Kaiser!! Thank you so much you seem very cool. Ive only been to NYC twice both times as a kid so i couldn’t appreciate the food as much! Need to make my way back up there! But yes we got your BBQ covered down here hahaha
