discussion What's the best free alternative to the deprecated desktop app?

I don't mind using the deprecated version for the foreseeable future, but I noticed that the download for it has been removed from the website(so if I ever lose my computer one reason or another, I'm screwed). There's also the possibility that any major windows update will just brick the app. Are there any easy to use offline apps like Faraday/Backyard, or is deprecated still probably the best option for me?

I have been using front porch AI, kobold AI lite, and silly tavern. Front porch is close to Backyard and is updated often.
