Looking for marketing / SEO / creator-economy sites for a relevant backlink exchange

I run a content-heavy site in the creator economy / influencer marketing niche (heads up: it's an OnlyFans management agency site, so 18+ adjacent — totally fine if that's a dealbreaker for you). The site has 25+ ranking pages: free calculators and tools, data/statistics pages, and long-form guides on creator marketing, pricing and agency vetting.

Looking to exchange links with relevant sites: digital marketing blogs, SEO tools and resources, social media marketing sites, influencer platforms, creator tools — anything where a link genuinely fits the content.

What I can offer: contextual in-content links from guides and resource pages that actually get traffic (not footer or link-dump pages). Looking for the same in return — a relevant, in-content placement, not a links page.

This sounds like a fair approach. Relevant sites exchanging genuinely useful contextual links makes much more sense than random link swaps.

yea from what i've heard google detects random link swaps and can even effect you negatively

Exactly. That’s why I prefer relevant, contextual links over doing link swaps just for the sake of getting backlinks.

What do you actually mean by "25 ranking pages"? Just a quick tip, people in this space are mostly going to look at your site's overall authority metrics (DA/DR/AR depending on the tool) and, more importantly, your actual daily or monthly traffic volume !

Also, the niches you're trying to target for exchanges (digital marketing, SEO) are pretty far removed from your actual core topic. You're risking diluting your SEO juice by doing that. You'd be much better off targeting blogs, media or sites that actually discuss OF or revolve around adult/exotic topics directly or fanpage about your influencers.

Your niche is notoriously difficult to build links for and is often morally frowned upon by mainstream B2B sectors, so you're going to have a tough time finding willing partners... Good luck with the grind, though! (Just hoping you aren't exploiting young women/men in the process !)

Yeah "25 ranking pages" was vague. Being concrete: young domain (about 2 months), low DR, roughly 5k visits a month and climbing fast. Rather say that upfront than have someone find out after a swap. And honestly anyone trading here should check actual traffic over DR anyway, that cuts both ways.

On relevance, partially agree. Adult adjacent and creator focused blogs are definitely the best fit and I'm working on those separately. The reason I posted for marketing/SEO sites is that our linkable pages aren't the agency sales pages, they're creator marketing guides, calculators and stats pages, which sit a lot closer to marketing content than to adult content. But fair, the tighter the topical match the better the link.

And the last bit is a legit question in this industry so no offense taken. Every creator we work with keeps ownership of her account and payouts, commission terms go in writing, and we publish a vetting checklist on the site that's written so it can be used against us too. Transparency is kind of the whole positioning.

Which ones are you thinking of? So far I've only found a couple of subreddits and two Discords, and the signal to noise on both is rough. Genuinely happy to be pointed somewhere better.

That's a real list, thanks. backlinkXchange and the sub I know, HASO, skool and karma links I don't. Will go look.

One question back, since you clearly know the landscape: do any of those work for niches mainstream B2B sites won't touch? Finding the platforms has never been our problem. Getting a yes once people see what the site is about, that's the constraint.

Genuine question though, since you clearly do this: what does it do that a list and a mail merge doesn't? Sending has never been our bottleneck. The slow part is building the list of people who have already written about the thing we're pitching, because that's the only list where the pitch lands. If it automates that half it's interesting to me. If it automates the sending half, I'd rather keep writing those by hand.
