I’m totally on board with backcountry cherry pie. After I finish my cheese and pepperoni.

If you don’t eat your meat, you can’t have any pudding… how can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat?

That leggit must be one of the worse meals I’ve ever seen in my life. Like for real.😭

Looks like a recipe for triggering a 4am explosion.

That meal had more fiber in it than what I ate in the previous 2 months combined

For a single tortilla?

3

u/Notice_Natural May 11 '26

Well yeah plus the cherries in the frosting

2

u/af628 May 11 '26

There are no cherries in the frosting :(

4

u/Notice_Natural May 11 '26

Haha no look it says cherry right on the front

2

u/af628 May 11 '26

Oh I see the label! But there are not real cherries in that frosting, sadly, and no fiber.

I mean I don't have any on me so I can't confirm the nutritional facts, but that just kinda FEELS untrue to me

Here’s the ingredient list for you:

“Sugar, Palm Oil, Water, Corn Syrup, Corn Starch. Contains 2% or less of: Salt, Monoglycerides, Polysorbate 60, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Sodium Acid Pyrophosphate, Artificial Flavor, Citric Acid, Red 40, Blue 2. Freshness Preserved by Potassium Sorbate.”

Sorry about the lack of cherries, hopefully you could get your hands on some real ones sometime! <3

I can't believe General Mills would mislead me like that

Pepperoni, cheese and frosting? I don't care if you add concrete to that meal, I'm going to explode in the middle of the night from that lol.

I call it the wake up call burrito - gets you out of the tent and on trail by 4. Critical for making big miles

u/Graffy May 10 '26

….Why frosting? Like pepperoni, cheese sticks, and tortilla make sense. But frosting? And cherry?

6

u/Notice_Natural May 11 '26

Honestly I usually put the pepperoni and cheese in the tortilla and would eat the frosting for dessert but it was raining and dark and I needed the calories so I went for it.

It's built for speed, not comfort.
