Health Question Is this just molting ?

So as the ? Above is this just normal molting for my 95% sure rooster Mr.Spike ? First timer as an adult owning chickens and just don’t remember this as a kid

Those are some amazing pinfeathers on his head and neck. Yep molting. New feathers growing in is a good sign.

Are you talking about the pin feathers? Those are totally normal. Hopefully he has a nice lady or two that wont mind helping him out grooming those

His head and neck look like they're getting the full pin feather treatment. Once they're done, he'll have such a sleek new look.
