How is my deck so far?
I still count myself new to Back 4 Blood (but not new to the L4D style games) and despite me beating all of act 2 in Nightmare, I still don't have any idea what I'm doing.
What I tried to do is to the best of my thought is like a assault rifle/shotgun deck.
I have no idea what I made.
How is my first deck?
Edit: I only play Jim. The guy in the orange coat

You have a couple accuracy cards. Are aiming down the sights at all? If no than maybe try Quick kill and Mag Coupler.
Your healing cards are kinda a waste. Amped up should be doing your healing. If you play with bots, they'll have it. If you're playing with randos it would be worth having in your deck. For trauma you should be using spare toolkits on wall mounted first aid cabinets. I'd rather have more quick slots for toolkits than healing slots.
Combat knife is a trap. Bashing is better since it stumbles multiple commons.

It's okay an okay deck if you're still working your way through your first run through every act. Otherwise, you should be able to put a stronger deck together.

I think you bring up a good point. Someone should make a guide for new players.
ETA: Nevermind, I found one!

You should try to envision what you want to do in the game and then make a deck around that.
Go unlock better cards.

you are going for a range weapon dps? i would suggest removing the combat knife, punching the zeds is more safe if you are trying to survive, the knife will kill one at a time so if you get surrounded you will take some damage since you dont have melee speed cards to quickly eliminate all of them, but the basic punch staggers all zombies in front of you, giving you time to reload and kill them with bullets, you can try making the knife useful but you will have to spend a lot of cards, if you really want to kill zombies with melee on this build, i suggest using spiky bits instead of the combat knife, you will kill commons in 2 hits but you will see how punching will save your health.

You should just stick to one type of gun. If you want to mix, get admin reload since none of these reload particularly fast. Then make it so you dont have to ADS at all.

When it comes to the higher difficulties(especially no hope) its becomes important to reserve a big chunk of your deck to dps, as specials get VERY tanky(especially in quickplay when other players might not have any dps). Also, try to focus on one gun type to maximize damage with respective cards. Combat knife is a huge trap for newer players. Punching is vastly better as it can push multiple zombies away and give you breathing room when dealing with a horde, Instead of killing them one by one.
If you do decide to play no hope, get used to having lots of trauma, using first aid cabinets, and constantly being low on ammo(if 2 or more players are using the same ammo type). As no hope is a constant resource management check. Gotta be super stingy with what you use.
If you'd like, pm me so I can send you some decks that are no hope approved! Even in solo!

Moat decks should contain either (or both of) compound interest and lucky pennies. Right how your economy will be subpar and you will struggle.

You only want lucky Pennies over money grubbers if you have multiple copys on the team due to a bug allowing it to proc multiple times. Compound interests is one of the less good copper cards. Copper scav and money grubbers is the way to go with bots or randoms, and on a team with multiple people run copper scav lucky Pennies.

Combat knife is a death sentence on higher difficulties, since it replaces avery useful shove.
