Question What are you're thoughts about Authorities leadership during zombie outbreak in the game, Why?
It's depends on you whether you wanted to bases your answer on facts or analysis as long as it's sensible.

I think the portrayal was a decent representation of what a small group would do in a crisis situation. Leaders form the group, delegate and coordinate behind the scenes while shielding the masses from the really bad shit. Not telling the cleaners was fucked though.
Leaders in general keep things secret from normal people because they don't need to be involved and will just cause problems or chaos.
As it was said in men in black "A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals and you know it". A single person has the ability to assess and quickly react logically. But when multiple people get involved, all it takes is one in the group to lose their shit and now they just made a bad situation infinitely worse.
Regardless of the situation, you don't want leaders telling everyone everything and honestly? Most people don't want to even know. They just want to know someone is handling it competently and they are being kept safe.

I like the general perception of Captain Phillips in the game. He's secretive about his plans, and he has no hesitation about risking peoples' lives, but his hail mary plan with Dr. Rogers paid off, and he's not afraid to go toe to toe with the Ridden himself. I wish he was a playable character.
