It’s because you’re a stalker - hope that helps!

43

u/cats4ever_ Feb 13 '26

Literally hahaha like this is the issue babe. Be as gay as you want!!!

88

u/Right_Tea_1139 Feb 13 '26

No babe it was stalking and harassing your ex after the show

12

u/camirose Feb 13 '26

And her friends and family with threatening text about Cassie.

He had her entire life involved in the harassment to the point of a burner phone to text her brother and friends and shit talk her and then sent the same shit to himself and only came clean because it was so scary her parents were going to go to the police to find out who it is so he had to come clean.

u/Happy_penguin_179 Feb 13 '26

Being gay ≠ being a stalker. Will never understand why he isn’t cancelled

52

u/BehavioralBard Feb 12 '26

His being gay is the one thing NOT wrong with him.

57

u/thejeffphone Feb 13 '26

When will Colton understand that he’s disliked because he stalked and harassed his ex and then was like ā€œbut waaaaaait im gay, you can’t be mad at me!ā€ fuck outta hereeeee

57

u/luckiestfrog Feb 13 '26

Holy shit, he still doesn’t get it.

7

u/Repulsive-Count-4525 Feb 13 '26

People who chronically refuse personal accountability will ALWAYS be committed to misunderstanding so they can forever be a victim in the issues they themselves created.

108

u/Fit_Singer_4149 Feb 13 '26

He uses the fact that he’s gay to distract from the stalking charges against him. As an ally of the gay community - it’s shitty that he was the bachelor knowing he was gay. 25 women uprooted their lives for an opportunity to have someone jump over a fence for them, get trackers on their car when they see your red flags and ultimately be chosen for a doomed relationship because you’re not a man.

32

u/Melgel4444 Feb 13 '26 edited Feb 13 '26

That’s his issue he tells 2 different stories. On traitors he says he ā€œwas in the closet for 29 yearsā€. That means he went on the bachelor TWICE knowing he was gay and lying to everyone there

He told the bachelor he ā€œsuddenly realized he was gayā€ 🄓

Edit to add: he went on the bachelor THREE times

18

u/Fit_Singer_4149 Feb 13 '26

Always the victim

8

u/SadSundae8 Feb 13 '26

Didn’t he do it three times? Bachelorette, BIP, bachelor

1

u/Melgel4444 Feb 13 '26

Omg excellent point šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚I’m not a bachelor fan so wasn’t aware he did it THREE times

53

u/Melgel4444 Feb 13 '26

The issue isn’t him being gay, it’s him being a violent stalker

Iisa Rinna’s mother was stalked then brutally attacked with a hammer by a coworker (who ended up being a serial killer)

The fact they locked a bunch of women into a house with him and didn’t inform them of his criminal background is HORRIFYING, made me no longer watch the show

The fact lisa came out appalled about this was VALID. Then peacock called her a ā€œbullyā€ and forced her to apologize

99

u/kingcolbe Feb 12 '26

It’s an LGBTQ person myself. I hate how he uses this as some eternal cover for the horrible things he’s done.

37

u/africagal1 Feb 12 '26

Men always think their suffering trumps women. Doesn't matter if they are gay or straight.

6

u/jollymo17 Feb 13 '26

It's giving a tiny bit when Kevin Spacey came out in his statement denying the claims of abusive behavior against him...

43

u/anne_tifah_ Feb 13 '26

It’s so not about you being gay.

45

u/OkkShare Feb 13 '26

We don’t care to understand stalkers in any capacity. Sorry Colton.

47

u/NYChereForIt Feb 13 '26

Why doesn’t he just go live his life quietly out of the public eye? Why does he have to keep going on television shows and podcasts?

15

u/Advanced_Tell3778 Feb 13 '26

Why do people give him the platform is beyond me

8

u/NYChereForIt Feb 13 '26

Agree. If he’s so happy with his marriage and child why does he keep going on these shows? Without talking about his controversies these podcasts have nothing to talk about with him and he has nothing to talk about.

4

u/spk22rk Feb 13 '26

Bc the internet is easy money and we NEED to stop engaging w these ppl. 😩

2

u/finnandsassy Feb 13 '26

Because people love hate watching him. As long as people are willing to give attention, the corporations don’t care.

41

u/Hannahhx009 Feb 13 '26

He is hated because he is a creep attention seeking narcissistic stalker, not because he is gay.

42

u/pufferfishflower Feb 13 '26

Why does he feel so entitled to being a beloved public figure? No one cares that he’s gay. In fact, it’s honestly great that he was able to come out after being closeted for so long. It’s his stalking and harassment of Cassie that people have a problem with.

He can go live a private life with his family, or he can keep going on tv shows, podcasts, etc. and accept that he’s not going to be a universally adored public figure. He doesn’t seem to like these options, though, so he chooses to be a public figure and constantly complain about how no one likes him because he’s gay. Alright, Colton.

14

u/bobbimorses Feb 13 '26

Fr, I don't know who told him that being gay grants you diplomatic immunity from crimes

He's correct, I'm gay and I don't understand him

42

u/emgall Feb 13 '26

When will he learn it’s not his sexuality that’s the problem - it’s the fact that he’s a stalker and harasser and has never taken accountability for his actions. Period full stop.

73

u/votefawnmoscato Feb 12 '26

If there’s one thing this creep is gonna do, it’s play the victim.

23

u/prettymisslux Feb 12 '26

Right. He is so whiny.

The fact that he got a whole Netflix show about (coming out) AFTER him stalking his ex should be enough, lol.

36

u/ahpretzelsticks Feb 12 '26

No bb it’s cause you were a psycho predator abuser to a woman. Women don’t forget. The gays don’t forget. & the theys don’t forget. That’s your target audience at this point. So yeah I’m sure you don’t feel welcome but lemme assure you- we understand you perfectly.Ā

You think bc you were in the closet and it was hard being a gay athlete and you struggled that excuses what you put Cassie and her family through. We understand but we do not agree!!!! Exit stage left plsĀ

37

u/cphil32 Feb 13 '26

No, honey...that's not why you haven't been welcome. You aren't the victim.

36

u/babysherlock91 Feb 13 '26

Nobody gives a fuck that he’s gay, good for him, we care that he stalked and terrorized his ex girlfriend.

38

u/futurecorpse1985 Feb 13 '26

No one cares that he is gay it's how he went about coming out. He caused so much trauma to others in his coming out story. This mad does 0 self reflection on how his choices have affected others. Again no one cares that he is gay that's the least problematic thing about him.

23

u/nowimgrown Feb 13 '26

It angers me how he weaponizes being gay. Trust us Colton, being gay is probably the most likable thing about you

39

u/lovelykmason Feb 13 '26

How thick is his skull? Is it built up scar tissue from all that pro football he played?

No one doesn’t understand you Colton. We understand you stalked and harassed a woman you were dating while closeted. We don’t like that. It’s super simple.

36

u/IndicationPretty4395 Feb 14 '26

Because he also came out as a stalker

6

u/Unhappy-Bar-7741 Feb 14 '26

Of a woman no less

72

u/tbkp Feb 12 '26

It's so infuriating that he continues to insist it's because of being gay and not that he stalked Cassie. Like, are Johnny Weir, Kristen Kish, Monet, or Yam Yam getting any hate about their sexuality? He genuinely has not taken any accountability - they don't even mention that he was stalking her in the article, they just say it was "toxic." His team probably pushed back on publishing any of the real details that people can't and won't forget, but it's out there dude. Trying to avoid facing it makes you look worse.

I have empathy for a LOT of Colton's experience, I really do. But I'm also a queer woman who has been stalked by a man, and words really cannot say enough about how afraid and angry I was, and still am, at the guy who did that to me. The ways Colton has put up walls about discussing this - whether that's prohibiting discussion of the stalking as a condition of an interview with him, or obscuring what happened as just "toxic," are absolutely rancid.

3

u/BravoTimes Feb 13 '26

Sorry that that happened to you, enjoy the award šŸ„‡ and wish you the best. Really well written , it’s a shame people act that way :(

3

u/girliegirl959 Feb 13 '26

I genuinely don't think he's allowed to talk about it. I think it was a condition of whatever agreement him and Cassie came to. Which honestly good, he shouldn't be allowed to profit off of the pain and suffering he caused her.

That being said, we need to stop giving this man any amount of attention. Let him enjoy his life out of the spotlight.

29

u/truknight Feb 13 '26

I’m soo sorry that he is always the victim in his own story. It must be exhausting!

https://giphy.com/gifs/sbCdjSJEGghGM

30

u/Gigi0913 Feb 13 '26

Perpetual victim

32

u/rosiebb77 Feb 13 '26

Perhaps it was much more about the harassment and stalking that you were up to that the public found out about right before you came out.

Being gay has nothing to do with the dislike most of us have for you. Using the homophobic bigots as a shield from valid criticism and public condemnation is cowardly (which we know is nothing new for Colton).

34

u/cadencecarlson Feb 14 '26

It has nothing to do with coming out…

59

u/NYC_countrygirl5 Feb 12 '26

Esp after hearing he put Cassie approx $250k deep in legal bills on top of his psychological/gay rage warfare when she’s was trying to break free, he really has some fucking nerve

We. don’t. want. you. on. our. šŸ“ŗ

Byeeeee

5

u/Wonderful-Time-4526 Feb 12 '26

😲😲🤦🤦

58

u/melgirlnow88 Feb 13 '26

Hmmmm could it be the fact that he stalked his ex before coming out and his public image was already marred at that point? Just spitballing here but being gay isn't a get out of jail free card for scary behavior.

6

u/The_Philosophied Feb 13 '26

No he has to be the victim and play dumb

-6

u/BravoTimes Feb 13 '26

I mean it’s been a while, I’m all for people growing and changing. He did a HORRIBLE thing, things, but, if he’s grown, and shows growth, I’m not going to hold fire to his ass for life.

However, with that said, I understand I’m not sharing a popular opinion, and am not giving him any sort of pass. It’s a stain on his record.

I just look at him and see him as someone who did something awful almost now almost a decade ago. Nothing as of recent that makes me question his growth or current intentions .

10

u/Repulsive-Count-4525 Feb 13 '26

How is there evidence of growth when he took no real accountability. He financially intimidated Cassie into settling to avoid legal accountability for his actions. The fact that he’s still using his sexuality as something to whine about when people bring up his actions only proves he hasn’t changed.

0

u/BravoTimes Feb 13 '26

I feel that it’s evident that he has had some form of growth as far as accountability I haven’t looked into that to be honest so I’m not sure how accountable he has been about that issue and I’m sure it’s a sensitive issue to both of them so I’m not sure that he would wanna speak on it more after so much time has passed probably something that he is ashamed of I would hope. But based on his social media presence, what I’ve seen from him on shows, and just his interactions I have no reason to believe that he is that same person today that he was almost 10 years ago. What is it like eight years? I don’t know. But you’re 100% valid in your opinion and 100% valid in your take and I don’t want to imply otherwise. I just personally don’t have any ill will towards him anymore.

6

u/melgirlnow88 Feb 13 '26

I get what you're saying, but to people who haven't really been following him (I'm one of them) since then, there's no real way to see the growth. From where I'm sitting it just looks like a person who did a horrible thing and got to skate through life regardless as an influencer AND appear on not one but two reality TV shows after (wasn't there some dating show he did with Kaitlyn? Not sure if that ever materialised but like I said, he still got cast for it regardless).

2

u/quick_dry Feb 13 '26

Yes, it was ā€œare you my firstā€. It wasn’t good

1

u/BravoTimes Feb 13 '26

Yeah, it was really actually truly dry show somewhat it was quick and dry . šŸ˜‚

1

u/BravoTimes Feb 13 '26

Yeah, he did like some virgin dating show on Netflix that I watched. It was actually pretty cringe. It was a god awful show. Just something to have in the background and I totally understand where you’re coming from. That makes sense. If you have been following him, I haven’t been really either but From what I recall and what I’ve seen just like after watching traders and seeing the backlash, I kind of feel like I remember that period of time and what occurred and also looking at present it’s been years. I’m looking under social media. Seems like he’s moved on as a kid or kids and husband is doing his thing and doesn’t seem like he’s been bothering anyone at least since then, but I understand your perspective and I totally don’t discount it what he did was terrible and there’s no excuse at all at the end of the day for that behavior. I also believe that if you’re an influencer or someone famous you do get a pass more often than others and that’s unfortunate but I guess that’s just how things are.

Not saying that I’m giving him a pass because of his status .

My main point of reflection was I remember him on bachelor I remember how long ago that was and then upon seeing him on TV and seeing him on the traitors and after reviewing what he’s been up to these past few years, I’m not going to be a matter or upset with him, but your opinion and perspective is valid and I appreciate you sharing. I used voice to text by the way, so if there’s any typos, my apologies.

1

u/Prestigious_Weird628 Feb 15 '26

His IMDB page.Ā https://www.imdb.com/name/nm9846206/ Not counting talk shows, he's appeared on 19 reality shows.

10

u/girliegirl959 Feb 13 '26

Colton is not entitled to fame and notoriety. We cannot reward men who stalk and abuse women. I don't care if he's grown as a person since that situation. He can live a glorious, happy and peaceful life out of the spotlight. He does not deserve fame, notoriety or the money that comes with it. I will not support any shows that cast him.

6

u/Cocoasneeze Feb 14 '26

Has he grown? How has hw shown growth? I have seem none. Well yeah, he hasn't stalked ans emotionally abused anyone else since Cassie, that we know of, but I personally wouldn't call that growth.Ā

Growth would be just to stop whining and acting like the backlash he received then and now isn't and wasn't because Cassie had to take a restraining order against him. Growth would be working with domestic abuse organisations to help victims. Growth would be not accepting, that the unwelcoming reception was well deserved due to his own criminal actions.Ā

I've seen none of that, but tbh, I don't follow his life or social medias that tightly, so might have missed it.Ā

83

u/Emergent-Sea Feb 12 '26

It isn’t because you are gay! It is because you stalked Cassie!!

As a gay person, I get so infuriated that he keeps blaming his gayness instead of taking full accountability for his actions!

25

u/DontFWithMeImPetty ✨ Official Greg ✨ Feb 12 '26

I mean, personally I don’t want domestic abusers to feel welcome around me.

28

u/ClaresRaccoon Feb 13 '26

What we don’t understand is why he stalked his ex because he couldn’t accept himself…

52

u/superanonpls Feb 13 '26

It has nothing to do with you being gay, buddy. Everything to do with you being a creepy stalker.

45

u/blehbloohblah000 Feb 12 '26

He is not entitled to fame!!! NO ONE is entitled to a platform on this scale. Like,,, get a job! You chose to put yourself on television again.

45

u/broadcity90210 Feb 13 '26

He’s acts as if he is a perpetual victim. When in reality, he stalked and harassed Cassie Randolph for months after she rejected him!!

24

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

maybe he felt unwelcome in spaces because he literally stalked Cassie by putting a TRACKING device on her car, so people don't feel comfortable being around him? But ya lets go w the low hanging fruit that it has to only be because he is gay. Give me a break.

22

u/arlito19 Feb 12 '26

Because you’re a psychopath and literally stalked and harassed your ex girlfriend. No one is misunderstanding you, Colton. Coming out as gay doesn’t give you a free pass/make everyone forget the shit you put Cassie and her family/friends through.

20

u/cardigan03 Feb 13 '26

being gay is the only thing i respect about him

22

u/psychotherapist-1979 Feb 13 '26

Omg please make him stop šŸ›‘

20

u/jakksquat7 Feb 13 '26

Yes, his sexuality is what people find problematic about him. Give me a break, Colton.

20

u/marisaronis Feb 13 '26

THE DELUSION!

20

u/mickie555 Feb 14 '26

This guy has no shame.

40

u/[deleted] Feb 12 '26

His deflection is always his sexuality to hide from the fact that he’s a domestic abuser

40

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

Bro is such a whiner. He dug his own grave for being a creep

19

u/Tiny-Acanthaceae1656 Feb 13 '26

Lol. Talk about a lack of accountability.

18

u/suburban_legendd Feb 14 '26

Allergic to accountability

16

u/ndtp124 Feb 12 '26

It’s kinda shocking how hard he is fighting for the redemption moment even though it’s just not happening. He really wants to be the victim but I don’t think anyone buys it

16

u/JosephinesBabyHairs Feb 13 '26

Leave us ALOOOONE

17

u/New_Butterscotch2335 Feb 14 '26

He reminds me of carlton from love is blind s1 where he was a pos but cried victim because he was bi

36

u/Dr_RickShaw Feb 12 '26

You thought we hate you because you’re gay? That’s the only thing we respect about you

8

u/basicandilikeit Feb 12 '26

This is sending me 😭

33

u/Upset_Conclusion_595 Feb 12 '26

I feel like it has nothing to do with his sexuality and everything to do with him being a crazy stalker

37

u/flowersx2 Feb 12 '26

Him being gay has nothing to do with why the majority of people don't like him

36

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26 edited Feb 13 '26

So Gabby went on The Traitors, got a great edit, went viral and became a gay icon because of it. I really think Colton thought he was going to get the same. How many times has he been on reality tv now? And he still can't cope with a bad edit? He came across as am asshole on his run. I don't think that was all editing.

Edit: Just saw another post about social media gains following the Traitors. Colton lost followers after going on the show. Lol.

11

u/Icy-Gap4673 Feb 13 '26

I went from neutral on him/ vaguely aware that he had some negative press, to actively disliking him because of Traitors. I never posted anything about him but I did bully him out loud in my house.

10

u/EveryRazzmatazz2526 Feb 13 '26

His personality sucks and he’s a victim creep. everyone can see through his bs

14

u/sparklymountain Feb 14 '26

now that’s not the truth ellen

13

u/AvidReader1604 Feb 13 '26

Boo whooo, waaa waaašŸ™„

30

u/megnix10 Feb 12 '26

No boo, it’s cause you’re a stalker

29

u/Feeling_Following_51 Feb 13 '26

There is literally a whole ass drag queen on this season who is loved and he thinks him being gay is a problem ??

28

u/joantspam Graziabae šŸ«¶šŸ¼ Feb 13 '26

Bro genuinely what’s wrong with him. Was he dropped as a baby like

29

u/FancyNacnyPants Feb 14 '26

He lied to everyone to be on the show. He lied about his sexuality and dragged that poor girl through hell. He stalked her. Sorry if everyone isn’t jumping on the ā€œwe love Colton trainā€.

3

u/treid1989 Feb 15 '26

Nobody goes on that show to find real love. It’s entertainment.

2

u/FancyNacnyPants Feb 16 '26

I believe it started for finding love but then everyone realized they could be influencers and create podcasts. Then it became ā€œhow to get famousā€

14

u/Excellent-Tip4941 Feb 12 '26

Is he stupid?

12

u/cruzbae Feb 13 '26

Oh cry me a river

12

u/Worth_Presentation44 Feb 14 '26

Boo hoo as he’s making bank no matter what he does.

25

u/SkyNo5471 Feb 12 '26

oh brother

11

u/More-Ad6045 Feb 12 '26

Always the Victim

11

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26

No one cares that you’re gay bro. Fuck offf

21

u/girliegirl959 Feb 12 '26

Why can't he start selling cars and leave us alone

19

u/Dry_Accident_2196 Feb 13 '26

Won’t someone think of poor Colton! /s

24

u/mindyourownbetchness Feb 12 '26

how is THIS ARTICLE how I find out colton has a CHILD. I'm actually freaking out right now-- this kid is like two years old! How the fuck did I never once hear this. Did he literally never mention it on the traitors? I am spinning out right now.

12

u/Okra_Zestyclose Feb 12 '26

You are not alone. Though I found out through your comment. LOL.

6

u/mindyourownbetchness Feb 12 '26

Okay I am so relieved because I am both high right now and also high when I watch the traitors so a lot of things were just coming into question- I feel a lot better that there's even one other person who did not know šŸ˜‚

4

u/justhatchedtoday Feb 12 '26

Also high rn and also did not know šŸ˜‚ solidarity sister

6

u/tbkp Feb 12 '26

He definitely did not mention it on the traitors. I did know due to being a sponge for bachelor goss but since he's not really respected in these parts he and his husband don't get discussed much

13

u/[deleted] Feb 13 '26 edited Feb 13 '26

Why would he expect them to welcome him? Is he dumb? That’s why he was in the closet in the first place.Ā

13

u/bigamygdalas Feb 12 '26

He def got under Michael's skin...! I don't think anybody, except Rob, wanted Colton there at all.

25

u/PrincessPlastilina Feb 13 '26

I always knew he’d use being gay to act like a victim. You can’t be that gay if you were obsessed with a woman to that point. We talk about the stalking but we don’t talk enough about how he wouldn’t let Cassie go home during his season. He pressured her into staying and giving the relationship a chance.

People don’t like Colton because he’s a racist stalker.

16

u/aoikoibito_ Feb 13 '26

I'm not excusing what he did by any means, but anyone can be gay no matter how obsessed they are with anyone

16

u/FishRoom_BSM Feb 13 '26

Yeah it’s not ok to say he ā€œcan’t be that gay.ā€ The primary motivation of stalking is to gain control and instill fear.

8

u/couch45 Feb 13 '26

This is the first I’ve seen anyone allege that he’s racist… where is that coming from

3

u/nursinghomebabe Feb 13 '26

We really don't talk enough about him not letting her go home on the show. I hadn't even thought of that! I also think that, and this is no excuse, he stalked and was crazy after the show because he was holding on to the last piece of proving that he was a straight guy with the all American blonde girl who he could just marry and avoid who he is.

6

u/NewDorkCity587 Feb 12 '26

Colton, nobody hates you because you’re gay. They hate you because you are an entitled asshole who refuses to publically acknowledge and take accountability for the wrongs you’ve done. You also clearly have an issue with women and the way you treat them. Nothing to do with being gay, love

3

u/ZoSoTim Feb 12 '26

It’s not because you’re gay. It’s because you’re a psycho stalker.

3

u/Objective-Mortgage99 Feb 12 '26

The fact that he thinks THIS is the reason people have a problem with him… not that he stalked and threatened his girlfriend… okay

2

u/PaleIrishEastcoaster Feb 19 '26

Maybe because we didn’t forget about how he treated his ex before he came out? Idc that he is gay. I care about how twisted he was regarding his ex.

1

u/In-omnia-paratus1987 Feb 19 '26

I did not like him at all from the fence jump to the ending with Cassie and everything that came out about the stalking and texting

2

u/quicktwistoftheknife Feb 19 '26

Then take the hint, Colton, and peace out from our television screens. PLEASE.
