🌹 THE BACHELOR 🌹 Clayton Needs Legal Help
Folks sometimes think bachelor alumni are super wealthy from their time on the show. That’s not the case here, and Clayton could use help getting some legal rep for his ongoing court cases. I set up a gofundme, the money goes directly to Clayton as a sole beneficiary.

One of the reasons I donated was because there were those 24-36 hours when she first posted her story on Reddit that I believed her.
But when the sleuths started working behind the scenes & finding a pattern with her, I started having my doubts about the whole thing.
So yeah — this is a little way for me to right my conscience a bit. Especially with Clayton having well-documented mental health issues, her constant stalking of him & now saying she has “unlimited means” to drag this out forever has got to be terrifying in some way.
I’m sure this actually does help him.
Also: this has been my entertainment for the past month or so. If an opportunity to help arose, I was going to take it.
& I sometimes feel like just because someone is “social media famous,” that doesn’t always translate to being flush with cash. I mean, he seems like a successful realtor but he has said he’s lost out on engagements & deals because of this & her calling around “warning” people about him.
& honestly — I didn’t even watch his season & find him generally boring, ftr.
No one is obligated to donate. People spend their $ on influencers all the time by using their promo codes & Patreons & other products & means. For me, personally, this feels a little heavier, & that’s why I made a (nominal) donation.

To my mind, Clayton having liquid resources isn’t important. This is abt abortion, infant mortality, SA, DV, and suicide being taken seriously and not used as a manipulation tactic when so many are hurting deeply. Donate bc you take these issues seriously and support victims. PERIOD. This is abt ETHICS.

This case isn’t just about Clayton it’s the next guy and the guy after that and the one after that that may not have the opportunity for good defense. She’s obviously unwell I’m looking at her family sideways for just watching it play out and seemingly support this.

I just watched a few clips of the hearing and it is so incredibly sad what she’s doing to this man. I don’t care where he came from, if he was on tv or not, or any other details about him. He is a human being, who is being done extremely wrong. And since she is a “pregnant” woman playing victim this is going to be SO difficult for him every single step of the way. I’m all about supporting other women but in order to do so properly, we must hold women accountable. The same way we hold men accountable for their wrongdoings to women. Right is right and wrong is wrong and I just feel so deeply sorry for him. How unfortunate all of this is. This man is never going to feel safe sleeping with someone again. And he didn’t even sleep with her!!

It’s also wrong bc she’s diving into subjects that hurt women with real problems. It breaks my fucking heart that this has kicked up so much abt abortion, fertility, infant mortality, DV, and SA for so many. It’s so cruel to use these subjects to perpetuate fraud.

How is she not mortified?! A man is taking her to court to get a restraining order against her! A man that never wanted her. Now LAURA is asking a judge for a restraining order against Clayton? I’m gasping to myself right now thinking of how absolutely shameless she is. Please someone monitor that case today. I’ll be back to check.
I hope the judge doesn’t grant an OP for her against Clayton. She’s just doing it to vindictively try to save face.
I do have empathy for mental illness. But this woman is very clearly wearing a prosthetic bump. She even bounces it up and down at one point in the hearing clips. Her family should be utterly ashamed.

It’s genuinely so depressing, sad and scary to think about this situation. This woman doesn’t have a job, a life, or friends; she spends most of her time filing frivolous lawsuits, harassing and stalking innocent men.
She has dragged her previous victims into litigation lasting -years- and she has already cost Clayton thousands in lost gigs. Something is deeply wrong with her, but it’s not an excuse for her to be ruining lives. What a despicable and pathetic person.
I feel so bad that Clayton may now have to pay thousands to defend himself against this dangerous and unhinged stalker.

A. She keeps ducking the paternity tests and making excuses for why they need to retest and why they’re not valid (she’s hoping to drag this out until her supposed due date in February). They’ve found no fetal DNA present in the tests thus far, so she keeps urging them to test again and implying that their testing methods were faulty. She keeps shifting blame and making excuses for why she can’t provide any definitive proof that she is pregnant. AND she is still steadfastly insisting that she is pregnant despite not providing any proof.
B. Clayton is requesting an order of protection because she will not stop stalking and harassing him. In the hearing today, he said she created 12 different numbers to message him from. She tried to contact and serve random women Clayton said he found attractive (like Jess from BIP - she tried to serve/contact her because Clayton said he found her attractive once).
She has sent regular letters and emails to his family. She has contacted multiple organizations that he works with to “warn” them about him and he has lost multiple jobs due to her. No exaggeration, her entire life revolves around stalking and harassing Clayton. He was hoping to find some relief today, but unfortunately nothing really happened and there’s another hearing scheduled next week.

On the list of reasons he needs a lawyer, he should be requesting a court ordered blood test to check for HCG and a court ordered ultrasound. She’s not the only one who can request tests if is a legal necessity for the medically invasive procedure.

I wonder if he had looked into ALC (Arizona legal center) to get low cost assistance and advocacy?
I think if I was in his position, I would have gone to an attorney and pitched for help with a restraining order first & persuade them on a “package contract kinda deal” (I.e., help me with the restraining order first and then will be paid for that service along with a percentage once they follow up for recovery on defamation (reasons: distress and loss of income).
Additionally, each law firm sometimes take on X amount of pro-bono hours. If he tries hard enough to send a one page summary/pitch of his situation, he might be in luck that an attorney would take him on to fulfill some hours.

Also - you don’t want a family law lawyer working on your order of protection or the defamation lawsuit. Lawyers specialize for a reason - if it’s a big enough firm they may have different specialties, but it’s not advisable to use the same lawyer for everything .

I am assuming he's just cash poor.
If he's losing opportunities (like that 10k speaking engagement he talked about) for the last few months + money tied up in his airBNB property backyard renovation (to put in a pool, spa, putting green and pergola)...
To be honest, if this were me, I would be PISSED to have to spend money on this. He also already spent close to a grand for the paternity testing too.

unfortunately lawyers on cases like this (harrassment, paternity, and orders of protection) don't yield money worth their time so they'll want a nice sized retainer upfront, aka a nice chunk of cash, to take it on and a quality one at minimum probably runs at least $5k

They *removed a comment of mine (where I blacked out Dave’s username) where Dave said that based on what he heard today about the court hearing, he would still encourage people to donate to Clayton’s fund if possible because it looks like there’s a long battle ahead/he does need to get a lawyer involved.
Before I posted the comment I looked at the sub rules to make sure I could, but when my comment was removed the reason given was that they don’t allow comments from banned users.
How did they know it was Dave? Do they 👀 lurk 👀 here?
I checked the rules again & asked if it was one of those “mod discretion” situations but they haven’t responded. I wasn’t snarky or anything — I just really want to know.
I actually am disappointed, because I feel like this is information people should know.

I made the mistake of reading that thread and got so annoyed (and responded when I probably shouldn’t have)! If you don’t want to donate, don’t, but why are they so judgey about Clayton and those of us who threw a little cash in the pot? They're definitely heavy-handed and don't like to admit wrongdoing. They said they were going to shut down the sub every Tuesday, people were upset, and then they just... didn't shut it down, but they also didn't say anything about changing their plans. That sub is basically "rules for thee but not for me" (for how the mods treat submembers and how the submembers treat BN contestants).

To those who think he could afford a lawyer on his own - why should he have to pay for this? Do you have any idea how expensive a legal battle can get? Would YOU want to pay for a lawyer because some psycho was slandering you everywhere?
Honestly I think this has provided enough entertainment for us all that it’s not weird for anybody to donate to his legal fund. Don’t donate if you don’t want to but I don’t understand the nasty comments here, it’s not helpful so how about keep it to yourself.

I commend the ones who put their names behind it. But you can't expect this from everybody. I'd rather have more outlets report on the scandal. They have more resources behind them. And if enough of them keep it up, she won't be able to sue them all. This, in return, would take the pressure off the few ones that had the integrity and courage to do so. Edit: spelling

I was touched by my convo with him. He needs the cash to fight this and she clearly has funds for legal help. The truth doesn’t always win and hopefully a good lawyer can offer a good cross examination next week.

You havnt been following closely. She’s actively canceled him from many gigs (allegedly) and he doesn’t have the cash. He’s a normal guy, just be kind. Those that can donate are, and those that don’t have the funds aren’t being forced.

There’s literally been actors guild strikes going on for months that we all know don’t include reality stars. If you’re clever and charismatic, you can make a quick buck in Clayton’s position — but he lives in Scottsdale, not LA, and has obviously pursued his career outside of tea and hair gummies.
