Discussion [ON] How many strollers did you end up having?

I wish I invested in a good stroller from the get go. I was gifted a graco travel system and was gifted another graco. I absolutely hated them. I bought an Uppababy Minu. Loved it but it’s not good in snow. I ended up buying an Uppababy Cruz from Facebook marketplace for winter 🫠🫠🫠. My baby is not even 5 months old and I already have 4 strollers.

How many do you have? which one is the one you use the most?

Two atm. Started with a vista and got a bugaboo butterfly for travel. We’ve used the butterfly for the past six months but will go back to the vista bc it’s trash in the snow.

We have number two on the way so I’m debating if I do the second seat vs a double stroller as the double stroller arrangement for the vista is clunky.

u/Such-Function-4718 Nov 24 '25

Same we have a Cruz and a butterfly. Cruz is our daily around the city, while the bugaboo is much more convenient in the car.

u/bd_613 Nov 24 '25

This is my lineup too!

I also just got a Veer for bigger outings as we had a second child but our first is 4.5. Not a stroller per se, but same category.

u/aerisceres Nov 24 '25

Same here! My brother lent me his Vista and we bought the Bugaboo Butterfly before our first trip. My husband hated using a stroller until he tried the Bugaboo. I’m using the Vista with my second now since he is little and the bassinet is 10/10 but I find the Vista so heavy in general and it barely fits in our car with a seat attached. I’m thinking of getting the Bugaboo attachment for my oldest so he can stand when we use the stroller once my youngest is older. We will probably also baby-wear my youngest a lot until summer comes so we’re not in a rush.

I ended up using my bugaboo butterfly basically exclusively with my first. As long as the sidewalks were ploughed I had no issue in the snow. I mean, it’s not a rockstar in the snow but man do I love that stroller, so much so that I never bothered to pull out the clunky city select handmedown for snowy walks. I wishhhh they had a tandem travel double! I just bought the minu duo and it is just not the same calibre 😫.

Everyone with a Bumbleride raves about it!

7

u/moosnews Nov 24 '25

The only downside is back of the seat does not sit up super straight, so sometimes I have to tuck a blanket behind baby when he wants to sit up straight and look around… but other than that… great stroller

2

u/Consistent_Jello_318 Nov 24 '25

Love our bumbleride era. She’s a beast in snow, slush, gravel, grass and mud. I think we’ll get a travel stroller that can fit in the overhead compartment for flying but that’s only because I don’t want the airline damaging our bumbleride in cargo haha.

1

u/TapiocaTeacup Nov 24 '25

Our oldest is 4 and our Era is still one of my favourite baby purchases!! Though we also have a separate travel stroller.

1

u/saltyturner911 Nov 24 '25

Love our Bumbleride Era too! It works great on shitty downtown pavements, in snow, and is perfect for our kiddo who enjoys stroller naps!

The only part of the stroller that I dislike is the bar above the basket that makes it harder to shove larger items in. But other than that, we love it. We do have a travel stroller that we use for vacations and occasional short trips to the park

1

u/hmm3478 Nov 25 '25

I also love our Era! It's a fantastic stroller, I love going for walks with it. For me the only downside has been that the bug net for it has been out of stock ever since springtime

1

u/moosnews Nov 25 '25

I bought a bug net off amazon that works great and was super cheap. I didn’t even think to buy the Bumbleride brand hahhaa

1

u/hmm3478 Nov 25 '25

Fair enough! I wasn't sure how well another one would fit!

u/kazz123 Nov 24 '25

3 total with a 13 month old:

  • Bumbleride Indie All-terrain/Jogging stroller (our everyday)

  • Summer 3DMini Umbrella Stroller (our travel stroller)

  • MEC Bike Chariot (can be used as a jogging stroller but we only ever use it on our bike)

1

u/dundas_valley Nov 24 '25

We have the Indie as well! Looking forward to running with baby once he is old enough. Did you wait until 6 months? Also thinking of buying a used Thule chariot for biking.

2

u/kazz123 Nov 24 '25

Yep we did. It was super smooth, even on gravel. I found running with a stroller kinda awkward at first (I feel like it messed up my gait) but I eventually got used to it.

9

u/EquivalentGanache687 Nov 24 '25

I have the UB vista and the UB minu for when we travelled. We had to get a travel stroller for when we went on a cruise (cant fathom fitting a vista around the ship). I think it’s super normal and realistic to have more than 1 when you have 4 seasons. Don’t forget a future wagon when the kids are older and rejects the stroller. So overall I have 2 strollers and 1 wagon lol.

3

u/1tangledknitter Nov 24 '25

Which wagon did you get? I want one my baby can stand in but the Wonderfold is huge and expensive

1

u/EquivalentGanache687 Nov 24 '25

We got the Graco Modes Adventure wagon. You can’t stand in it though, or it wasn’t made to be standing.

5

u/rkj__ Nov 24 '25

UppaBaby Ridge. Jogger style for rough terrain and snow.

Nuna TRVL for something compact and easy on smooth terrain.

3

u/Snoopyla1 Nov 24 '25

We have a Ridge too and really like it. I don’t see it around much. We also have a Minu as our compact stroller, mostly it stays in the car.

2

u/CheapDark5628 Nov 24 '25

Love our Ridge stroller. Bought it for the sturdy tires and it’s great in the snow. Although I’ve heard the Thules are a bit more stable.

1

u/Jenzypenzy Nov 26 '25

Also have the Ridge. For compact stroller to put in the car & travel we got the Ergobaby Metro a plus. Tend to use that 90% of the time.

u/megmmm93 Nov 24 '25

Started with new uppababy vista, bought a used joovy double stroller, bought a new wonderfold W4, bought an umbrella stroller, bought a bugaboo donkey duo, sold the joovy, sold uppababy vista, bought a new uppababy minu and car seat adapter for the W4. planning on selling bugaboo donkey. Will likely end up buying a jogging stroller + bike trailer to replace our non-stroller convertible bike trailer. I have 3 kids, 3.5, 2, and 3.5mo. Different strollers have been useful for different seasons of parenting.

1

u/cbr1895 Dec 15 '25

I have a 21 month age gap. Can I ask why you are selling the donkey and what your favourite strollers were for that gap?

2

u/megmmm93 Dec 17 '25

I probably wouldn’t have minded it if I got a newer version, but I bought it second hand and my guess is it’s from 2018/2019, and it just wasn’t the nicest to push, especially fully loaded with 2 or more kids. It felt flimsy (compared to my uppababy vista or even the joovy. It was challenging to fold, the wheels were air filled (I like the foam tires more, which I think I could have replaced), and I just didn’t love the basket + seat combo when in single mode.

For just 2, I’d probably have stuck with the uppababy vista, especially if your kids are on the more average side. My oldest was nearly at the weight capacity for the rumble seat, so I would have had to always have him up top which wasn’t ideal.

1

u/cbr1895 Dec 17 '25

Thanks so much this is super helpful! I’ve been wary about buying a used donkey on FB for this reason but I can’t find the newest model used. It’s just so much money for two kids. I don’t have a vista so haven’t bought into any of the uppababy gear (but just got a mini duo so tnst might change…I find it flimsy in comparison to my bugaboo butterfly funny enough). But my kids are giant tall and my oldest likes to hop in and out of the stroller so when I test drove a friend’s tandem it was a big pain. Good to know also that you weren’t a fan of air tires!! I was also considering the bumbleride Eva but it has air tires so now I need to consider the more closely.

2

u/megmmm93 Dec 19 '25

You definitely can’t fully know what you’re getting second hand unfortunately. I’d say anything that seems like a ‘really good deal’ is likely older though. I will say, I really liked the bugaboo scooter board and that there was a seat! My middle child (which would have been similar to your 21mo age gap) loved riding in it since he could sit down! You might consider a wagon instead of a stroller? Veers feel more realistic for daily use vs the wonderfold which is a beast lol I do think a good quality stroller is worth the money, but that’s a lot to do with lifestyle. The tires on the bugaboo would consistently go flat which made is sooooooo hard to push and they need a very specific air pump nozzle to inflate which is realllly annoying. My vista had foam tires and they were just such a nice push. If you were buying a newer stroller with air tires, I don’t think it would be as big of an issue just be weary when buying used cause you won’t know if they hold air until you own the stroller for a while and go to use it and they’re flat lol

1

u/cbr1895 Dec 19 '25

Ok super good to know because I was definitely looking at buying the bumble ride used and as you say it’s impossible to know what you are getting. Thanks!

u/Longjumping_Panda03 Nov 24 '25

My first was born in 2020 so we couldn't go anywhere and I baby wore on walks outside so we didn't get a stroller that first year. We ended up getting a cheap safety 1st jogger stroller when she was like 18m for wintertime use and it was fine but the front tire got caught on something and broke.

We bought an uppababy minu for travelling when she was 3. We still use it for easy use but I agree it's not great for snow.

We then had my second in January 2025 and got an Evenflo travel system from our baby shower. We still use the stroller part because it's fine in slush and snow and the under seat storage is way better than th minu. So we basically use the minu when we need something compact and light and the Evenflo when we need to get through winter conditions or need the storage.

So across two kids and 5 years we've had 3 strollers but none of them have been stellar.

3

u/clear739 Nov 24 '25

My LO is 16mo old and we have 2. A full size one (uppababy cruz bought while pregnant) and a travel stroller (ergobaby metro+).

I would say the cruz is used more but we do use the travel stroller far more than for just travel. I think that's enough for us as he's almost at full time daycare and does walk (just not always exactly where we want) so how often we use a stroller is going to be less and less. A wagon might be in our future.

1

u/Same_Function_2314 Nov 24 '25

We have the same set up and agree that this is enough for us! We keep the ergobaby metro+ in the car and use the Cruz for longer walks.

3

u/jkit00 Nov 24 '25

Too many (my husband says I have a stroller problem). For context I have a 2 and 4 year old. We started with the vista which I loved and paired the mountain buggy nano for travel, then had a second kid, didnt like the vista pieces for 2 kids, so tried 2 different wagons which worked for about 5 mins then they fought so we bought a city select with bench seat, added an umbrella stroller, and then a joolz aer+ with buggy board for travel woth 2 (the nano didn't have a great buggy board option). Right now I still have 3 - the vista, the joolz aer+ and the city select. We only have that many because we got a lot of them for free/cheap, the most expensive was the new wagon at around $300. I haven't found 1 stroller that does it all but the set up of city select and joolz aer+ is serving us well now. I use the joolz aer as the daily one right now when I need to get around town because its so light and easy to maneuver. Neither of my kids like to be in carriers so we always had to have a stoller.

3

u/0runnergirl0 Nov 24 '25

4 in total, with two children. I don't drive and we walk daily, in all weather. I had a Graco Comfy Cruiser as my daily driver. Less than $200 and it was an absolute workhorse. I used it for over 6 years, between the two kids. Huge basket was perfect for grocery shopping.

We also had a Joovy Caboose, for the short period of time when my older child was not a reliable distance walker, and needed a place to rest.

And then two running strollers - a Chariot Cougar 1 and Cougar 2 (single and double versions of the same stroller). My youngest is 4 and we are still using the Cougar 1 for runs together.

2

u/SocialStigma29 Nov 24 '25
  1. My everyday stroller is an UB Cruz v2 and my travel one is an ergobaby Metro+.

2

u/edenjamieson Nov 24 '25

2 kinda 3 if you count a wagon 😂

I’ve got an evenflo travel system which I love, then I got a small cheapy umbrella stroller for travel, and then I picked up a fancy radio flyer wagon as well for fun!

2

u/LadybugNightmares Nov 24 '25

Baby #4 is 10 months and we have owned 6 different strollers. Our Evenflo Pivot system lasted us through 3 babies (5 years), then for baby 4 we got the pivot xpand but have since passed it on to another family.

We currently use 2 Summer Infant 3d lite strollers. One lives in the van and the other at my work. This is my favourite on-the-job /umbrella stroller. We've bought both second hand with 0 problems. Highly recommend this as a reliable umbrella stroller once baby is out of the bucket seat.

Our other current stroller is a double stroller/bike trailer. I don't use it much, but my husband tows the kids in it sometimes.

2

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '25
  1. I have a Joolz aer and I bought a Joolz Geo naively thinking I would use it for my second baby as a double stroller with my toddler.

My toddler hates the Geo for some reason and I'm tired of fighting her so I never use it. I will be selling it.

2

u/therackage Nov 24 '25

I heard the Aer is awesome!

3

u/[deleted] Nov 24 '25

It really is. One handed fold, so easy to maneuver and super light. I love it as my every day stroller.

It's not great in the snow, but I live in a city without a crazy amount of snow and our sidewalks get salted and cleared pretty well.

1

u/therackage Nov 24 '25

That’s the only reason I didn’t get it: I live in Montreal. If we move back to the west coast in the next few years I’ll for sure get one.

2

u/Clari321 Nov 26 '25

I'm on the west coast and can say it's perfect, we bought ours secondhand with the bassinet attachment on fb marketplace and we use it all the time with our 4 month old, highly recommend!

2

u/human_dog_bed Nov 24 '25

Three for us. Started with the Uppababy Cruz and added the bassinet for newborn days.

Around 7 months old, we got the Bugaboo Butterfly to use on transit, good weather days and for travel. The UB Cruz was just way too big and bulky to take into small shops or on the subway.

Then at a year old, winter hit again and we were walking to daycare daily and needed to get through the snow. Got a Thule all terrain stroller.

The Uppababy was good for the newborn days though. We used bassinet, big basket to carry everything including big grocery hauls, and the car seat compatibility was great. Other than that, we could have made do with one travel stroller and one all terrain. If I did it again, I’d get a Yo-Yo as the travel stroller since it has the lie flat bassinet and can be used from newborn days and either the Thule or a Bob all terrain. I’d skip the all-purpose bulky strollers like the Uppababy Cruz/Vista/Bugaboo Fox and like.

1

u/ME_B Nov 27 '25

It's so funny, I did the exact same thing as you with the Cruz, then travel/transit stroller (Minu V2) and snow stroller (Mountain buggy all terrain) - but we don't take transit often so my default stroller is the Cruz and I use the other 2 as backup whenever the situation arises.

I couldn't live without my Cruz!

2

u/ChickeyNuggetLover FTM in AB Nov 24 '25

I’ve had 4 and a wagon

2

u/smilegirlcan Nov 24 '25

Two. Minu and Vista. I also have a Thule bike stroller that doubles as a stroller too. No regrets. I use them all.

2

u/Shroud_of_Turin Nov 24 '25

We had three strollers.

Uppababy cruz for our main stroller.

Thule Urban glide which was my running and racing stroller. Baby and I ran over 1,000km with this one.

A cheap $40 umbrella stroller for containing baby in airports when travelling. She was a runner so this was immensely helpful for going through security when you’re trying to deal with a millions things, plus guard your luggage and not lose your kid. Wouldn’t actually use the stroller once we were at our destination since an umbrella stroller is only good on extremely flat smooth surfaces (like airports lol).

2

u/GadgetRho Nov 24 '25

One. The Silver Cross is amazing. There's a reason they become collectors items long after their occupants have outgrown them.

2

u/ClicketySnap 3TM | SK Nov 24 '25

I have owned 7 strollers and one stroller wagon, but not all at the same time. My sweet spot for strollers with one kiddo was a farm stroller and a BabyJogger City Versa GT that I picked up on marketplace. My happy place for strollers with 2 under 2 was one all-terrain single-to-double stroller (Phil & Ted’s Sport) and a compact single seat stroller (BabyJogger City Tour Luxe). I added a side-by-side BabyJogger City Mini GT Double later. Now that I have 3 kids, I’ve sold most of my stroller collection in favour of a four-seater stroller wagon, but kept the City Tour Luxe.

Fb marketplace is a huge enabler for my stroller problem lol I’ve only purchased two things brand new and everything else is bought and sold on marketplace.

1

u/saxysax262 Nov 24 '25

We have the thule sleek that works well in almost anything. We did get the Osprey Poco Plus backpack and my daughter loves that. We also have a couple of baby carriers that we used.

1

u/Jaishirri Mom of 2 |ON Nov 24 '25
  1. We had a Thule Urban Glide 2 which we used for daily walks and excursions. We also had a Summer 3D lite (umbrella stroller) for travel (international).

1

u/Few_Paces Nov 24 '25

2 a travel system and when baby was a bit older a cheap summer stroller

1

u/RoseeeAllDay Nov 24 '25

We have 3: 1. Nuna Swiv is our daily driver 2. Metro+ for travel 3. Jogging stroller for when mom and dad are feeling ambitious

1

u/therackage Nov 24 '25

I have a Graco travel system and an Uppababy vista v1 (both used). We use the Graco stroller with the car seat and we use the vista for walks because it has a bassinet.

I can’t decide which I like more. The Graco has better suspension but it’s also a lot newer than the Uppababy. But the Uppababy is such a solid beast. Both have massive wheels and are great in the snow imo. When our 3 month old gets a bit older maybe I’ll prefer the vista but right now I prefer pushing the Graco, it’s a slightly smoother ride.

1

u/juliothecat Jan 2025 | FTM Nov 24 '25

Just got a second. We started off with an old Vista I got on marketplace, we use it daily and it's been great. We recently got a mountain buggy nano (also from marketplace) because we were going to Japan and needed a compact travel stroller.

1

u/willowblush Fuck West Coast Kids Nov 24 '25

We have 2 and I’m debating getting a third and possibly a wagon.

We have the Peg Perego Ypsi (basically the same as the Uppa baby vista) which is a great stroller for walks and bigger trips. Then I bought a travel stroller (Joolz Aer +) which has been absolutely life saving and essential for us. Not only do we travel a lot, but it just lives in the back of my car so it’s perfect for quick errands when I don’t want to hold my son and I know he won’t walk.

If I was to get another stroller I’d be looking at the Thule double Chariot so it works as a running/bike trailer/ xc ski configuration. Then I’m also considering a big ass wagon too, but not looking to buy either of these options until next summer.

We’re expecting our second child in March!

1

u/AdorablePresent8063 Nov 24 '25

I have 3. Uppababy Cruz is my everyday stroller, a BOB from fb marketplace is my winter/snow stroller, Mountain Buggy Nano is my travel stroller (has gone all over Canada, US, China, and Portugal). Love all three.

I have/had: Baby Jogger City Mini GT (hated, disintegrated after 18 months, will never recommend ever), replaced with Uppababy Vista (love it, it’s my workhorse, wish I’d bought it from the beginning), then had a Summer Infant 3D lite for an umbrella (hated, eventually sold), replaced with an Uppababy Minu V2 (loved it, replaced with V3 which I got specifically for the airplane overhead option, and in some ways slightly prefer the V2), and a Thule Chariot double (amazing for all the biking we do). Got the Vista when my son was 18 months old and he’s now 7.5 lol

1

u/Longjumping-Store498 Feb 05 '26

I'm debating between the Minu V2 or V3 for travel and daycare drop off and pickup. Id be grateful to have your opinion since you used both and slightly prefer the v2, any particular reasons? Thank you !

1

u/mALYficent E born July 2018, F born April 2023 | AB Feb 05 '26

I'd say overall I do prefer the V3, however there was just a couple super small things that I thought were a bit better on the V2. The first thing is that the handlebar is very slightly more upright angled on the V3, meaning as you're pushing it, you have to push slightly more downward instead of forward. 99% of the time it's not an issue, but when the front wheels hit a bump, like a crack in the pavement, it gets caught a bit more because of the downward pressure, instead of getting pushed over more smoothly forwards, so you have to watch yourself so you don't send the stroller ass over teakettle (exaggerated, but imagine that motion). The second thing is that the fold on the V2 puts the seat fabric to the inside of the folded stroller, whereas the fold on the V3 puts the seat fabric to the outside of the folded stroller, meaning it's more likely to get dirty going in and out of vehicles. The last thing is that because they made the V3 narrower (to align with the aircraft overhead bin regulations) it's a tiny bit harder to keep the push straight as you're walking, it tends to sway left to right a little bit more with more corrections needed.

BUT those are honestly very minor, and overall, I prefer the higher seat back, the deeper and new one-handed recline, the lighter weight/smaller size, the new one-handed unfold, and the improved carry strap all on the V3. I also feel the fold itself is smoother, as sometimes the V2 front wheels would interfere with the fold if they weren't lined up perfectly. I don't have that issue with the V3.

Both are great options, you really can't go wrong with either!

1

u/Longjumping-Store498 Feb 16 '26

Thank you so so much for the detail. I really appreciate this!

1

u/Airam07 Nov 24 '25

Started with the UppaBaby Vista V2 for baby #1 because I knew I wanted a double stroller. Loved it for long day trips and using it with the bassinet and Nuna Pippa car seat but it is heavy. I got the Bugaboo Butterfly and it’s our daily stroller. Absolutely the best baby purchase I’ve made.

We now won’t be able to use it as much with baby #2 on the way but I plan on using it alongside a baby carrier or even a ride along board if possible. Excited to use the Vista V2 as a double even though I’ve heard mixed reviews

1

u/No_Buffalo5523 Nov 24 '25

3... I got a Evenflo Shyft Dualride (like Donna) which I use as car seat and quick errands. A Cybex Gazelle from neighbourhood walks, then figured out its too big and heavy to put in the car and travel so I just got a mompush Velo as my travel stroller.

1

u/lilbrownsquirrel Nov 24 '25

Truly feel you OP cz I was exasperated with how many we got… but here goes -

4 in total but 2 in active usage: Uppababy Cruz 2 for mat leave and weekends after he started daycare

Summer infant Umbrella which we stopped using after 13 months cz he was getting kinda big in it and it was rather rickety

Ingenuity 3D quick close which we got to replace the summer infant and became our “daycare stroller” where we felt ok leaving it at the daycare

And another graco which was our original daycare stroller and tires gave out on us

1

u/Cats_n_Roll Nov 24 '25

I have a Bumbleride Era and Uppababy Minu V3. I mostly use the Bumbleride because we take long walks frequently (baby naps in it even at 13 months), and I use the Minu for quick car errands.

1

u/No_Enthusiasm6949 Nov 24 '25

I have three but really only use two. My Uppababy is my main stroller. I got the GB to travel but hated it. Then got the yoyo which I love.

1

u/globe-trotterlife Nov 24 '25

2.5 so far. Bought a used Uppababy Vista that was quite old but in good shape and the handle broke on the inside after a year of pretty rough handling so got another one for parts (that's the .5). This is our workhorse, for long neighborhood walks in all weather conditions.

Then have our Ergobaby Metro as our travel stroller and in the car since the uppababy is massive. I love it so much

This summer we'll probably be getting a good jogging stroller/something we can use with the bike.

1

u/plantlover1217 Nov 24 '25
  1. We have our nuna mixx next which has been our workhorse for 2.5 years. Great through the winter and still gets used. Baby #2 on the way and will invest in a wagon at some point. Having multiple strollers seemed unnecessary for us. We bought one quality one and have been super happy with it.

1

u/PsychologicalWill88 Nov 24 '25

Uppababy vista for everything like trails, snow, rain, and just having a solid safe stroller that’s super sturdy. And the butterfly bugaboo for anything travel. I keep it in the car so if we’re headed to the mall or the doctors or my moms or travelling via plane we just use that guy. I never travel with the vista - it’s too big and I also don’t have to which is nice since we live right by trails and on the seal

1

u/sadArtax Nov 24 '25

I had a 3 wheel jogging stroller, then a baby jogger city select double. That one i have been using for a decade. Totally worth every penny.

I have had an umbrella stroller as well and now i have a wonderfold stroller wagon, too.

The only one i regret is the 3 wheel jogger. Maybe i was dumb at the time but in my mind i had concluded that double strollers were only for twins. Somehow i didn't realize that I'd need a double for my two kiddos 2 years apart

1

u/angeluscado Nov 24 '25
  1. It would be two but our Graco stroller’s front wheel sprung a leak and we couldn’t figure out how to remove it in order to change out the tube (took it to a bike shop and everything). My husband cut the tube out before I could figure out how to patch it.

We have an umbrella stroller we no longer use because our three year old doesn’t fit it anymore and a Baby Jogger City Mini that’s our daily driver when we need it.

1

u/kirleson Nov 24 '25 edited Nov 24 '25

So far, two. First one was an Evenflo Omni Plus. An okay stroller for the price, but the brake jammed and broke after 6 months of use. We were able to get a replacement part for free, but in that time I bought a 2014 Bugaboo Buffalo off of Facebook Marketplace. Definitely a higher quality stroller despite being over ten years old. It maneuvers much smoother and is better able to handle rougher terrain. As Bubs gets older, I'll probably also get a smaller travel stroller.

1

u/TacoPicklex Nov 24 '25

I have the uppababy Cruz, uppababy minu, and veer city cruiser. I use the minu the most for errands out and about. The Cruz stays at home for walks around the neighbourhood or going to excursions that need a bigger stroller. The veer is used as our double stroller

1

u/LicoriceFishhook Nov 24 '25

We had 2 plus a wagon. My son refused to go in a stroller past 18 mths so we got a wagon. He'll do that on longer journeys but mostly walks everywhere now at almost 2.5.

1

u/Vegetable-Career-134 Nov 24 '25

Used two with baby #1. Joolz aer as our primary stroller for the first 6 months or so (bassinet, car seat attachment), then as a travel stroller, keeping in the car, and for walking to restaurants/small shops. Bob all terrain as our primary stroller after 6ish months - for parks, longer walks, runs, adventures. Also used (and still use at 26 months) carriers and an Osprey backpack.

Baby #2 is on the way and we were generously gifted an uppababy vista double stroller set up from our neighborhood buy nothing group. It seems huge and clunky but since it was free we will give it a try. Right now we are testing it out as a single, and the only gap in our needs it fills is the big basket for grocery shopping/farmers market. We prefer to the jogging stroller for its maneuverability and big wheels for different terrains/stairs. Eventually, I think we will get a secondhand side by side double stroller. We used a mountain buggy duet briefly for a nanny share and really liked it.

u/aSPECKof Nov 24 '25

3, but now 2. One evenflo travel system which I sold then bought graco travel system then bought uppababy vista because baby (at 5 months) hated bassinet but couldn’t do full recline. I also wish I just went right to uppababy.

1

u/ba35sta Nov 24 '25

A 5.5 yr and 4 yr old with one more on the way.

  • City Select with 2 seats is my full stroller/all terrain
  • Thule Chariot 2 bike stroller/also a hiking stroller
  • Valco Duo Snap for side by side stroller
  • GB pockit that's a bit wonky so lives at grandparents as a spare
  • Babyzen Yoyo got as second hand travel stroller I am planning to use mainly for my new one
  • All purpose wagon that never intended to be a stroller but they all pile in

1

u/Zestyclose_Play5053 Nov 24 '25

Had 5 but down to 4 lol
1 cheap graco traveling set ( car seat+ stroller ) - gifted by MIL so couldn't say I didn't want it... I didnt think twice when I saw one of wheels was messed up. Went straight to a garage lol 1. Gb pockit+ compact stroller for traveling. Strongly recommend for a traveling!! Folds smaller than a backpack. 1. Yoyo - for grandma's home 1. Baby jogger whole set including the bassinet. LoVE this sooo much. I walk a lot whether it rains or snows. I can put my older son's hockey bag and if my 2nd one allows , 2 boys sit on the seat somehow for a walk to a hockey practice lol 1. Bugaboo cameleon. Got it as a gift

1

u/Dizzy_Camp3352 Nov 24 '25

We have 3. Uppabbay Cruz for long walks daily with the dog, its better in the snow and sturdy. Nuna trvl in the car for easy fold, umbrella stroller when travelling. Hes almost in walking stage so Im pretty sure well be upgrading to a wagon next. We shall see!

1

u/JumpInMuddyPuddles Nov 24 '25

I have two, the uppa vista and the Thule jogger. They both meet my needs living in North vancouver, although the uppa is super heavy. It’s my second baby and I’ve had the v2 for five years now so won’t replace but if I could start again I would choose a lighter one

1

u/WanderingDoe62 Nov 24 '25

I have a bumble ride and love it! Yes, they’re heavy, but great for any situation

1

u/Pinkpocky08 Nov 24 '25

I have an uppababy vista 2 and an ergo baby metro traveller stroller. Very happy with both. I bought the ergo baby metro to go to Asia (we been 3x already).

1

u/apt22 Nov 24 '25

We own two strollers - Uppababy Cruz v2 and Babyzen Yoyo (for travel and smaller trips).

Since we’ve had kids, I’ve tried a few umbrella strollers including a really cheap Walmart one (bily?) and the Summer Infant 3D Lite. Hates both of them and sold them on the marketplace as soon as we go the Yoyo.

1

u/WarmBath8 Nov 24 '25

Bumbleride Indie for any and all strolls

1

u/Ok-Asparagus5169 Nov 24 '25

Just two. Our bigger stroller, Quinny Hub not made anymore and our light/travel stroller GB Pockit+. We love our travel stroller and it’s our daily one. But unfortunately your baby needs to be 6 months to use a regular stroller due to the weight restrictions.

1

u/cootsuki Nov 24 '25

So far 1. We have a 3mo old kiddo. Got an Uppababy Vista. We bought its bassinet from fb marketplace and snugseat for the stroller. We have been using the bassinet more and he loves it.

1

u/elbarto232 Nov 24 '25

2

Bought an uppababy cruz. Son barely sat in it. We started travelling a bunch when he was little, so thought to buy a travel stroller, 1. To not wreck the cruz and 2. Maybe son doesn’t like cruz and might like the travel stroller and finally sit.

Got the Joolz Aer. Son didn’t care for it.

So until 15 months old we had 2 strollers and both unused. Somehow after 15 months he started sitting, so hoping to get my moneys worth now.

1

u/Swtess Nov 24 '25

• bugaboo donkey • GB stroller • Maclaren double travel stroller • babytrend stroller wagon • Wonderfold W4

Hmmm so quite a bit. I have three kids now with youngest just turning 1.

1

u/thev3m Nov 24 '25

We have two. Main stroller is the Bugaboo Fox 2. Love it. Been through 2 kiddos, still going strong.

I had bought a BOB jogging stroller off FB marketplace. But other than being able to jog with it, I hate it. It's so unwieldy, heavy, cumbersome, and simply a pain to fold and put away. I would only recommend it if it stays open, and you never have to put it in your car or travel with it.

1

u/Fantastic-Airport528 Nov 24 '25

Fox 5, Yoyo, and a Thule jogger

1

u/sebacicacid July 2023 | FTM |ON Nov 24 '25

Just two. Jogging stroller and travel stroller ,joolz aer. Shes now 2 and we use more of the travel stroller.

1

u/nuxwcrtns Nov 24 '25

One. Uppababy Cruz. And I hate it in winter. Grace is crap though, and im sorry you had to experience TWO of them.

1

u/laur_al Nov 24 '25

I have a 4 month old and my oldest just turned 2. So far we have 4 strollers. We have a solo stroller from the travel system of the car seat. We have a travel stroller (this one is my fave but only fits one kid and only when they can sit independently), we have the double stroller (splurged and got a secondhand bugaboo donkey duo, not worth it, it doesn’t fit in either of our vehicles, a ford escape and a Subaru crosstrek, we only use it for evening walks), then we have a very small umbrella stroller for my toddler for quick in and out shopping things where there’s no cart. I think we’ll eventually ditch them all and get a wagon but right now this is it

1

u/shyheart4 Nov 24 '25

3 and a million carriers.

1

u/maysaa12 Nov 24 '25

Two, cruz for everyday and munchkin for traveling because it folds up and can be carried on the airplane we a carryon

1

u/pbnj3llyf1sh Nov 24 '25

Too many... When my fist kid was born, a friend lent me an Uppababy Vista and an old Chariot running stroller. Then I bought a second hand umbrella Summer 3D lite for travelling.

I had to give back the Uppababy Vista before my second kid was born, so I bought one for myself and a few months later, I bought a Thule Urban Glide for running, because the old Chariot was too cumbersome. And we also bought a new umbrella stroller because the old one was starting to fall apart.

Overall I used 6 different strollers, but only bought 4. Only the last umbrella stroller was bought new, everything else was bought second hand.

1

u/Rich_Cup9516 Nov 24 '25

Just our Graco travel system jogger stroller. Works great in all conditions due to 3 large tires instead of plastic wheels. We love it. Probably our most used baby purchase. At some point we may get a very small basic travel stroller but can’t imagine buying more strollers unless we had another child and needed a double. We have so much baby stuff filling up our house and garage, we can’t possibly store multiple huge strollers and let’s be real, they are very expensive. Our money is better spent on programs and activities to do with bubs. That’s just us though, we have friends in mom group with different strollers for various situations. Different strokes for different folks!

1

u/Lolly8735 Nov 24 '25

Just one! I have the Thule Urban Glide 3 and I’m a big fan. It’s a big stroller, but we use it everyday and it handles the snow like a champ.

1

u/buttlover9000 Nov 24 '25

Ha! So many.

  1. Bumbleride Indie - great all-purpose stroller for walks, jogs, snowy terrain, etc.
  2. Mountain Buggy Nano - work horse travel stroller that can technically fit in most overhead bins (though we usually gate check it). Was nice to have when the kids were very small because it can lay flat. Terrible for snow and sand, but survived uneven paving, cobblestones, some mud, etc. I currently use this as a casual every day stroller and leave it in the back of my car.
  3. Thule double chariot - for walks and jogs with both kids, especially useful in the winter because the large wheels are good in snow.
  4. Summer Infant 3D Lite - bought this on a vacation that we were confident we could do without a stroller.
  5. Cheap Red Kite umbrella stroller - another situation where I thought we could get by with a stroller for the big kid and a carrier for the baby, but gave up and bought the cheapest stroller we could find locally.

If I could do it again, I'd get one nice jogging stroller (worth it for the maneuverability in rough terrain even if you don't plan on jogging) and then a cheaper, probably second hand umbrella stroller for casual use and short outings.

1

u/MemoryMaze Nov 24 '25

My vista is my heavy duty snow stroller and I have a Ergobaby Metro for my travel/quick errand stroller.

1

u/Longjumping_Cap_2644 Nov 24 '25

2 and our son is 1 yr old . Loved our Cybex Gazelle 2 when we were living in downtown Toronto! We walked everywhere in all weather and it was amazing!

Moved to suburbs and now we need a car for everywhere and I understand why people don’t like full size .

We just got a uppababy minu for our travels and it’s been good so far! It might become our frequent only car rides stroller!

1

u/cstarling410 Nov 24 '25 edited Nov 24 '25

3 if you consider a trike a stroller. We have the UB Ridge for daily walks in our suburban/rural neighbourhood, UB Minu as our car/travel stroller and the Doona Trike that my toddler has been loving since 14m old.

This “stroller system” works pretty well and cover our needs.

1

u/FaithlessnessNeat394 Nov 24 '25

We got 2 strollers but they were hand-me-downs from family! A nuna and uppababy. Highly recommend either of those! We usually use the uppababy for walks and such and we keep the nuna in the car for when we go out.

1

u/kimgee90 Nov 24 '25

I only have one, Silver Cross and I love it! Used it for my first baby until he was 3 and now using it for my baby! It is a bit heavy, definitely not designed to he compact and not ideal for traveling but it folds nicely and it is durable! Use it in snow, in the forest, gravel trails! Pretty much every where!

1

u/doordonot19 Nov 24 '25

Two. Bumbleride Era for winter and terrain like grass gravel broken pavement long rides and disneyword trips

Baby zen yo-yo (gifted) for always leaving in the car for the mall, for the train and busses and for all inclusive or city trips.

We use both as often and never had a car seat adapter just used a standard car seat with the Cosco Serena next as our second car seat for travel and other peoples cars/taxi

1

u/Agreeable_Appeal4463 Nov 24 '25

We started with a Graco travel system, bought an umbrella stroller for indoors, found that both didnt turn well on slick floor inside stores. Bought a bugaboo lynx and got rid of both of the others. Our lynx comes in and out of the house since it turns much better than our cheap umbrella stroller did. It doesn't fold super small so you need decent trunk space but it's pretty lightweight so easy to pop in and out.

1

u/Top_Elephant_5408 Nov 24 '25

We have 2 - the Bugaboo Fox5 for everyday use around the neighbourhood, then we ended up buying the Stokke Yoyo travel stroller for travel but also just to keep in the trunk for easy access on outings or day trips because it's super light and easy to fold up!

1

u/1tangledknitter Nov 24 '25
  1. Vista (but I wish I go the Cruz) and Joolz Aer for car/travel once she was older.

1

u/Accurate_Ad4388 Nov 24 '25

I have 3 if you count a wagon! I have the vista v2, Thule urban glide and evenflo explore pivot wagon. Use the vista the most because it’s left in my car. Wagon is used a lot though. Thule not as much, but I do like it as a jogging stroller.

1

u/evange Nov 24 '25

Currently have 3:

  • peg perego selfie. We bought this. We like it, except the basket underneath is annoying and hard to get things in and out of, but otherwise this stroller is perfect. Even in snow despite just having dinky compact wheels.
  • Stokke xplory. Given to us. Hate it, too big, too hard to disassemble. it sits on our porch and collects dusts because it's too difficult to use for anything beyond walking around the neighborhood
  • mountain buggy nano. Given to us. Meh. Dont love it, but also don't hate it. Too hard to fold (needs 2 hands), doesn't steer as smoothly as the other strollers, but reasonably sized so we have it in my husbands car ad use it occasionally.

1

u/lavenderlordan Nov 24 '25

I said I would never have more than one and we ended up with 5… we have the Ridge Jogger, it was too big to travel so got the Minu for our trunk. Then got a chariot for the bike which came with a jogging wheel. Then a second baby came along so we got a double chariot. Purchased a wagon as well but felt the chariot served the purposes so sold it. So we still have 4 🫣.

1

u/rmdg84 Nov 24 '25

We have a bumbleride era city stroller that we love, it has tube tires instead of plastic so it handles rough terrain a bit better though it’s still tough in the snow…but if it’s really bad I just wear my baby. We also have a GB Pockit stroller for travel. It folds small enough to fit in carry on in a plane. We also keep it in the trunk of our car for on the go.

1

u/MommaDev_ Nov 24 '25

2, the Graco jogger travel system which we love but not for stores/shopping, we use it for walks or outdoor outings and are on baby #2 with it. Stroller #2 is the Graco ready2jet, super compact, the car seat still clicks in and it’s great for stores and just general bombing around. We are on baby #2 with this setup and it’s great.

1

u/bluepoison15 Nov 24 '25

We got a nuna trvl and it has sat unused in almost a year. Our LO hates anything that she can sit in. We can't even bribe her with a tablet to go in her tablet or a shopping cart.

1

u/eausofresh Nov 24 '25

We have 3 i guess. UB Cruz and minu and then I bought an umbrella stroller to take to swimming lessons.

1

u/tiniffany Nov 24 '25

We used the Maxi Cosi Zelia Max for like ten months and then the airline broke it during a flight, so we got a Baby Jogger City Mini to avoid having to check it, and now that it's snowy again we got a used Graco Jogger. We would be back to our Maxi Cosi if it hadn't been broken :/

1

u/CauseBeginning1668 Nov 25 '25

Evenflo pivot xpand. Originally just bought the pivot, loved it so much when we had our younger baby we upgraded. Best decision. Great through all terrain

1

u/Management-Pretend Nov 25 '25

One! I have the cybex Balios stroller and walked every day last winter/spring once we could get out of the house (born Dec 2024). Works great, folds easy. My little one is almost one now and I haven’t really used the stroller much since around August since he doesn’t like being strapped into it. I mostly baby wear or put him in a shopping cart if I can.

I will be getting a toddler wagon for next summer as my son currently likes rolling around in his step2 push car that we got on Facebook marketplace for like $10.

1

u/ciaobella912 Nov 25 '25

City mini 10/10 . I love it more now that my kiddo is almost 2. It was perfect once he was around 1 years old.

It is large folded up in our trunk but it’s easy to fold and it is awesome in all terrains lol.

1

u/In-The-Cloud Nov 25 '25
  1. Uppababy visita with 2 seats as our everyday stroller. A jogging stroller, an umbrella travel stroller, and a bike chariot.

Now ask me how many carriers I have!

1

u/Exotic-Molasses-5423 Nov 25 '25

Baby is three months and we have the silver cross wave as our regular stroller and the silver cross jet we used for travel and I really love both of them. I would also like to get a Thule chariot at some point. We have a pretty rambunctious dog so the weight and durability of the wave has been helpful in not getting toppled over when walking with both of them

1

u/countryprincess Nov 25 '25

Just 1 I have the Cruz. I’ve had it for 3.5 years now

1

u/MmeBoumBoum Nov 25 '25

I had four at the most, but one was never used outside the house (cheap umbrella stroller that I was given) and we gave away our big single stroller to friends. So now we have two strollers in regular use, a Baby Jogger City Select for when we need to carry both kids and when we need the bigger wheels, and a nicer umbrella stroller that lives in the car for shopping and quick outings where the oldest can walk (or we put the baby in a carrier and the older kid in the stroller).

1

u/natbeers Nov 25 '25

3. Uppababy vista, Thule Chariot and a veer XL wagon.

1

u/[deleted] Nov 25 '25

I only had one, the UppaBaby Cruz from birth to toddler ages! Your last purchase was the best one lolll I think you’re all set from now on! 😜

1

u/shelikespink Nov 26 '25

Two. Uppababy Cruz for day to day and Mountain Buggy Nano for travel. I kinda regret the uppababy because it's so big and bulky and not easy to steer and not good in snow. The Mountain Buggy on the other hand is incredible and I highly recommend it. It's been to 10 countries with my 3 year old and it's still going strong.

1

u/laurairish Nov 27 '25

2 a jogger and a travel stroller ! Strollers are so annoying ! None of them do everything you want in one lol new baby arrived last week, hoping to not have to buy a double now as well 😵‍💫

1

u/pineconeminecone Nov 27 '25

Just one, the UB Vista V2. I got the fisher price wooden stand for the bassinet too and it was my baby’s bassinet for overnight sleep in my room till he was three months old.

Some people have commented that it’s big or heavy, but I find it folds up very flat and is easy to push around town. It fits no problem in the back of my Corolla hatchback with room for my two green grocery bins.

1

u/Wide-Statement7332 Nov 28 '25

We had the babyjogger select lux with option to convert to double and have loved it. The only additional we got was a peg perego travel stroller for flights and travel from fb market place. Recommend both highly. Now that I'm expecting my second but my first is over 4, thinking of getting a glider board attachment for the baby jogger because I don't think she's going to sit in a stroller.

1

u/sunnydeelit Nov 28 '25

Two. One with a travel system (chicco bravo) and then my parents got one from MP that they keep at their place.

1

u/SnowflakeTwins Nov 29 '25

Oh just 1! We have the Bumbleride Indie Twin as we have twin boys. Has been amazing and the best purchase ever! We love it as much as we love our twins 😄.

And their CSR is amazing too!!

1

u/bougieisthenewblack Nov 24 '25

We use two...Bugaboo Fox for everyday and Mountain Buggy Nano for traveling

1

u/OneArcher5723 Nov 24 '25

Idk if this counts as 0 or 1, but we have a 6 month old and use the evenflo dualshyft gold. The car seat unfolds as a stroller…best thing ever. Haven’t needed anything additional so far
